Description

The "Civil Workers' Movement Metrocops" are actually just members of the Civil Workers' Movement, a made-up faction hostile to the Combine Overwatch meant to fit somewhere in Half-Life 2's lore, with stolen metrocop armour. Or they could be defective metropolice loyal to the CWM. Either way, this is meant for my garbage expanded lore.

Unfortunately, I don't know how to hex models, so you're going to need to have the Metropolice Remake by Omega in order for this to work, and for anybody who is going to make a hexed version of this; please, teach me your ways.

And swelter happened and become my favorite half life 2 mod. its maybe not most original but I loved this idea. thats also why I loved swelter that much. lambda rebelst encounter with another rebel faction and they conflict with eachother.

this is old as hell so im surprised people are still commenting and asking about it. that also meansa that i dont quite remember the lore of this
basically at the time i had envisioned a more in-depth and sort of autistic way of viewing how rebel factions operated in C17, with Lambda acting as an umbrella group containing different resistance organizations that all had their own aims and objectives similar to the real-world French resistance
included in that were groups of varying ideologies which sometimes clashed. one of these movements, derived from the Universal Union Civil Workers' Union, happened to attract a lot of metrocops for whatever reason

my idea wasn't unique to me though and was eventually used for the plot of the Swelter mod. so go play that!
