Spawning the Items
  1. Firstly, you must enable admin mode to use any of the commands in this guide. To do this, type /admin into chat.

  2. You can then use the following commands to spawn their respective armor pieces:
    • Head:
      /spawnitem winterscarfhead 1 '{"shortdescription":"Invisible Head","rarity":"legendary","directives": "?replace;6f2919=00000000;a85636=00000000;e0975c=00000000;ffca8a=00000000"}'
This uses the Winter Scarf item, but any item that is entirely one, dyeable color can be used (such as the clown nose.)
    • Chest:
      /spawnitem tshirtchest 1 '{"shortdescription":"Invisible Chest","rarity":"legendary","directives": "?replace;6f2919=00000000;a85636=00000000;e0975c=00000000;ffca8a=00000000"}'
    • Pants:
      /spawnitem beachcreeperlegs 1 '{"shortdescription":"Invisible Legs","rarity":"legendary","directives": "?replace;6f2919=00000000;a85636=00000000;e0975c=00000000;ffca8a=00000000"}'
    • Back:
      /spawnitem simplecapeback 1 '{"shortdescription":"Invisible Back","rarity":"legendary","directives": "?replace;6f2919=00000000;a85636=00000000;e0975c=00000000;ffca8a=00000000"}'
  3. You can now equip your new items! Remember that /spawnitem places items at your cursor. If your items do not appear, make sure your cursor is on top of your character and try again. You may also wish to disable admin mode by typing /admin once more.
Enjoy!
Now you have a full set of invisible clothing! Enjoy!
If this helped you give it a thumbs-up so it can help others!

How do you do this with a weapon?

i made locally, lost the files, due to laziness subbed to mods which do that, but YESH! This is gold and absolutely necessary, and YES once again, should be available by default - maybe d3v(il)s are as lazy as me, like "bah, polishing? usability(-ness)? leave that to modders and guide makers. they (us) gladly and proudly will perform such task(s) without costing us a single quid!"

many cheers!

@Koopkiris it does not, you will still be able to get achievements after doing this

Does this stop me from getting achievements?

Thanks a bunch, I was wondering why there was no option to just hide armor pieces.

I was going to comment "just take off your armor", but then I realized it's for hiding armor, not for having no clothing.

@atomicneutrino True, but this method lets you do it without any mods. Mods that add invisible clothing items would be virtually indistinguishable because of how Starbound items work.

LOL there are mods for inv clothing
