The virus and it's effects
The virus in No more room in hell is based on 'Encephalitis Lethargica'. An "extinct" virus that affected many parts of the world form 1917 to 1928. It was however overlooked by many due to the raging world war and the high death toll from influenza. 'Encephalitis Lethargica' Has many connections to the virus in NMRIH (732-ZH). As in they both cause a person to lose vision shortly before taking effect (The screen you get when bitten). They both cause the victim to have a severe case of psychosis (A disconnect from reality ;mentally) which causes the victim to not be able to respond properly or make conscious decisions. Both viruses cause an eventual, severe uncurable case of parkinsons. As well as muscle pains and loss in muscle coordination. Thus meaning that the victim can (in a way) no longer control what they do or what their body does. The victim will eventually fall over and die from exhaustion and pain. However with 732-ZH the victims brain remains active and they are "reanimated". Their sense of pain is almost none existent and they are bound to nothing more than the task of maiming and eating whatever living organism they can find. Both diseases are spread through bites and blood transfusion. Encephalitis Lethargica Has no known cure and has vanished off the face of the earth. There is still no clue as to who patient 0 was or as to how this virus came about. We do not know what has happened to it and we do now know if we are prepared for it to come back.
