To anyone who can't read this(pun intended)
Custom character needs "reader" tag and "reader" component
In character code place this: inst:AddComponent("reader") BELOW this: local master_postinit = function(inst)
And place this: inst:AddTag("reader") BELOW this: local common_postinit = function(inst)

Light in the Darknes working weird, item is invisible (only shows %) and icon is bugged on the crafting menu, avoid using.

The mod hasn't been updated to the new crafting system. You have to use the search bar in order to craft the items.
