Description
Did you ever get the Relic as the Lost?
Have you ever found yourself drowning in Red Hearts as Blue Baby?
Are you annoyed by your Blank Card + Jera plays, because there was that one Heart on the ground you cannot pick up, which is now after many duplications filling the room?
Or do you just wantto bring abit of the keepers mechanic to the other characters?

You said yes to any of these questions? You might like this mod containing a simple Trinket, the Heart Of The Keeper, which by touching hearts you cannot pickup, immediatly rots them and turns them into 2-5 blue flies.

Works with all Characters(except the keeper since hearts don't exist for him) and all heart types (except for sacret and golden hearts since they have no limit).

I hope you enjoy this mod.
The trinket will also be featured in a much bigger mod pack I am currently working on, which will be a continuation of the "alotmoreitems" mod.

Kinda like the Apple of Sodom trinket that was added in Repentance. Neat. In some sense, you could say that this (or the idea of this) made it into the base game.

I understand this is an old mod, but just for information, this does not work with the bone hearts added in the final booster pack. Picking up red hearts when all bone hearts are full does not create flies.

Hey, just ran into this item and I cannot pick up/rot red heart while at full health, I am running a ton of mods of course, not D18 though.

If I ever find which mod conflict I'll come back here ;3

found it. it's D18. something about how it handles hearts seems to break it.

actually works fine on it's own. some other mod seems to have broken a bunch of mods that scan entities
