The Kraken Table

Release the Kraken!
The Kraken is a table designed to elegantly fix the struggles of space and organization. Its dimensions are similar to the Custom Table's, but it has six drawers that can be deployed out for personal boards, as well as two major extensions for the sides of the table.

  • Clicking on the metallic handles will bring out (or back in) the respective drawer.
  • Leaving items on a drawer and closing it will store the items along.
  • The ends of the tables have clickable sides denoted with an "EXTEND" label that can be clicked to attach or remove the side extensions.
  • A "Customize Board" button can also be found at the left side of the table, it can be clicked to enable selection of the main board to tint or upload a custom image.

Hovering the clickable areas will display a cursor.
Please read the change notes for updates and tweaks.

The Kraken's board can be tinted to a different color (via the right click menu) or use a custom image.

To add a custom image, you must:
  1. Click on the "Customize Board" button on the left side of the table to enable editing, the board should turn white.
  2. Right click the editable board, choose "Custom".
  3. On the new menu, add the desired image's URL on the "Diffuse / Image" field.
  4. Click on the "Import" button to apply, the image should load and the board will automatically lock itself back.

If you are only tinting the board without loading a custom image, then make sure to click the button once again (which should be now labeled "LOCK") after you're done customizing.

  • One does not flip the Kraken.

This doesn't load up for me for some reason. Can't imagine why I have a pretty hefty build. Any setting I should change?

Hey is there any way you can make an extended 8 seat version of this with 8 trays on the longer sides instead of the usual six? My dnd group uses this a lot and I don't want our DM to have to worry about filling more than 6 players before or during a session.

I have tested the latest hotfix, with a clean install and it works nicely for the moment.

Hiya guys,

I've heard the latest update might potentially be causing issues. I've done a test run and used multiple save files, but have been unable to reproduce the problem. If anyone could facilitate me a save file in which the drawers failed to load, it'd be very helpful.

Please also do tell if the issue persists after cycling your cache / clearing local files as @raultiberiu suggested.

Until a fix is put out for this table that corrects the disappearing drawers after a period of time, this table should be avoided. Unless you enjoy watching your entire campaign space be torn apart suddenly.

Delete local mod files and let it redownload them. Had the same issue a while ago.

Asset bundle for drawers seems to be missing.

Anyone know how I can create something like the ribbon on the drawers? I've tried unity cloth physics, but that doesn't seem to be the solution. Perhaps you could impart upon humble little me with your vast knowledge, O' honorable Lily?

the ribbon is too much for the cpu, can the ribbon be deleted?
