How to kill an Owl Sniper

In this guide I will be telling you how to find, kill, eat/sell an Owl Sniper.
Note: This guide is for educational purposes only, Owl Snipers are an endangered species.

What is an Owl Sniper?

Well good that you asked! The owl sniper is a very rare species of nocturnal sniper scientifically named the Monstrum Noctua (Monster Owl). They are very aggresive when provoked.
Their diet mainly consists of Lime Green Scouts, Hoovies, Spycrabs and in rare situations Pyrosharks.

Where to find Owl Snipers

Owl Snipers are usually situated in the urban regions of TF2; such as Badlands, Gravelpit and Badwater. You will not find them in any indoor areas such as Turbine, 2fort and Nucleus.

Hunting an Owl Sniper is a difficult task. As previously stated they live in specific areas and as they are nocturnal they will only come out at night.

• Weapons
  You should bring a sniper rifle if you have one, its accuracy is useful. Bring a sharp melee too (I personally recommend the Prinny Machete). Always aim for the head.
  
  
• Food
  You will not find the Owl Sniper in a day. You need to bring healthy food in order to keep your hunt going. For high energy snacks I recommend the Dalokohs Bar or the Fishcake (if you are lactose intolerant) and for larger meals I recommend Spycrab leg or Lime Green Scouts.
  
  
• Other Utilities
  The Mining Light (you need a torch dummy), Pocket Medic.
  
  

How to engage in battle with an Owl Sniper

Fighting an Owl Sniper is EXTREMELY dangerous and has caused thousands of deaths every year across the globe. However follow these steps and you (hopefully) will be safe:

1. Approach
   Crawl on the floor and make as little noise as humanly possible. The Owl Sniper's ears can hear your breathing so we recommend you stop breathing once you get in a 30 meter radius of it. Make sure you have preloaded your sniper rifle.
   
2. Where to aim
   Crouch down and aim at the Owl Sniper's head.
   
3. Shoot
   See? Easy as pie. Not.
   Once it is hit by this bullet it will be stunned for a few seconds. In this short amount of time reload your rifle and shoot it in the head again).
   
4. Success

If it goes badly
Ok so let's say you failed at following one of these steps. It has now noticed you. Good job.
The Owl Sniper is reported to fly at over 2000 m/s when angered (which is faster than your ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ bullet) and can evicerate a target up close. If this happens to you there is not much hope. Pull out your melee and hope for the best.

How to cook an Owl Sniper

What you will need:
• Kritzkrieg Medic
  
• Flamethrower
  
• Hoovy tears
  
• Hot Hand
  
• Garlic
  
• Olive oil
  
• Black Pepper
  
• Salt
  
• Sugar
  
  How to prepare:
1. Get Owl Sniper body
   
2. Skin it
   
3. Remove beak
   
4. Burn with crit flames
   
5. Sprinkle on hoovy tears
   
6. Slap with the Hot Hand until it goes red
   
7. Add garlic, olive oil, black pepper and coconut (optional)
   
8. Add 131.2123 grams of salt and sugar respectively
   
9. Serve with Jarate

How to sell an Owl Sniper

A good place to sell the Owl Sniper is on a trade server. However nobody will want the body, people want the head.
Hollow.
So yes, before selling it you will need to behead it and hollow out it's head as if it is a mask.
The standard selling price for these hats are about 3.78 keys (£5.12 / $6.90)
