"Any parts that doesn't have scales is going to be covered in feathers. I used crocodile face skin on the jaw and nasal cavity, Used pebbly scales on it's sides, face, and neck. Some elephant skin on the side wrinkles and cracked underside scales on the belly. Pebbly Scales on the bottom of it's tail. Bird-like scales on it's feet and arms. And Scales on it's tail that show a resemblance to croc tail scales. Also used human skin on the top of it's body and the muscle mass on it's shoulders as a layout for fur so don't get triggered yet. I'm not normal mapping fur onto the model because it looks ugly like that. Also arm normals are out of date since i added scales tp them as well. Also i don't think tyrannosaurus was the most avian of dinos. Depends on the dino if it's an unfeathered dinosaur it's skin will look crocodile-like with bird like foot skin as well. If it's a giant dino that may have had feathers and will be a mix of croc skin, feathers and just skin. Dromeosaurs will probably be just completeley feathered and only have scales on it's feet and maybe face. Osteoderms on dinos depends if it was a spinosaurid maybe and always on the abelisaurs and on ceratopsians also none on tyrannosaurids. This diffuse texture is a bit out of date since i'm baking one. Also diffuse is baking and it's been bakin since yesterday since it's 8 4k texture tiles is still baking to this day and will probably be finished next tuesday(I want my creatures to be high quality, especially late game creatures since i'm going to make the tyrannosaurus rex an end game creature). At least ifound out my computer can handle 14000 mem and still run fine so i can work on other creatures while it's baking."

the scales need to be smaller (excluding the avian scales), from a distance it should look like it just had skin. also the eyes are to small

In my own mod also the uvs were derped so I once I'm done with the purussaurus I will probably fix the textures and make it more croc like.

Siiiiick, is this going to be put into the JP mod? Or a separate one.

1- shoulders must have muscles tied to arms. now arms are randomly attached to shoulders.
2- make your model in clay and try to make it stand- it will collapse forwards. you need to mantain balance in static by adjusting leg position, feet length and center of mass.

and always remember: every creature is result of evolution which have taken millions of years- there is no place to ugly or crude mistakes.

Oh thank god, a depiction that doesn't make the Tyrannosaurus look like a fucking caribou going through the molting process
