Are you tired of the same old HD gameplay in your SSHD? Ever felt like SSHD didn't feel classic enough? Well, then look no more! Biomechanoid's SSHD Gameplay Tweak Mod aims to make gameplay in SSHD feel and play more like Serious Sam Classic. What does this mod change exactly? Check out this list below:



Weapons:

Military Knife - Uses Classic Sounds
Shofield Colts - Faster Firerate
Minigun - Decreased Damage, Increased fire rate and faster minigun barrel speed
Grenade Launcher - Uses Classic Sounds, Slightly increased charging time
Sniper Rifle - Slightly Faster Firerate, 8x Zoom, uses Classic Zoom Sounds and has a laser sight attached
Flamethrower - Uses Classic Sounds
Cannon - Slightly decreased charging time and uncharged shots now have a one second delay after fired
Serious Bomb - Uses Classic Serious Bomb Pickup Sounds


Enemies:

Biomechanoid Major - Now uses classic biomech major firing sounds instead of rocket launcher sounds, Slower walking animation speed, Fires two rockets instead of one when the player gets really close to it, Increased rocket damage radius
Biomechanoid Minor - Faster walking animation speed, Increased moving speed
Zorg Mercenary - Uses Classic Sounds, Increased moving speed
Zorg Commander - Uses Classic Sounds, Gun Texture, and Body Texture (Special Thanks to Danker for the Body Texture), Increased moving speed
Zumbul - Uses Classic Sounds, Texture, Keeps their distance when it gets close to the player, Faster Rocket Speed
Reptiloid Common - Increased Sniper Damage Resistance (Takes 3 sniper shots instead of 2)
Fiendian Demon - Their Fireballs can now be destroyed by the cannon
Beheaded Kamikaze - Increased Explosion Radius
Kleer Skeleton - Uses SS1-Style Textures
Gnaar Male and Female - Uses classic-style textures
Mordekai - Staff uses classic textures


Other:

Sam - Uses Classic Jump Sounds and Classic Player Footstep sounds
Small Armor Pickup Item - Uses Classic Pickup Sounds
Santa Secret in Land of the Damned - Uses Classic Sounds

Will this Mod also add more enemies into the game? I remember that the classic First and Second Encounter had alot more Enemies on the Serious Diff.

New update has been released. This update includes:

- Biomechanoid Major's rocket damage radius has been increased
- Biomechanod Majors now fire two rockets instead of one when the player is really close to it
- Biomechanoid Minor's moving speed has been increased
- Zorg Mercenary and Commander's moving speed has been increased
- The Small Armor Item Pickup uses classic sounds now instead of the one from SS2
- The Secret Santa npc that walks around in the first area in the Land of the Damned level uses classic sounds now

As for the rocket ammo suggestion, I tried to do that for this update but it turns out the editor can only let me edit the respawn time for MP and everything else is hardcoded in the item's data file.

Ok... This'll definitely make things considerably more interesting! Though, I've got a suggestion. How about when you pick up rocket ammo, you get only five rockets instead of eight? That's what Serious Sam Classic did, if I recall correctly. Serious Sam 3 did it as well. Besides, that's clearly how many missiles are in that little bundle when you look at it.

Thanks a lot for this stuff, mate! Now all that we need is classic versions of the maps (things like the sky clearing out in The Grand Cathedral, etc).

nice mod but if you can make the arm disappear when holding the tommygun and the sniper rifle will be more classic

What's new in version 2.1:

- Gnaars use classic-style textures
- Mordekai's staff uses classic textures
