Introduction
To measure maximum lethal range for bombs I was dropping them on perfectly flat terrain without any obstacles. Number shows (approximate) how far from impact point was unit without any protection (no vest, helmet etc.), which died due to explosion. In terrain with height difference or obstacles (rocks, buildings) number may be much lower, especially in dense urban areas.

I could not find max range for AIM-54 Phoenix, because radar could not detect any targets beyond ~21 km (~13 mi).

  • [AP] - Antipersonnel (not antitank).
  • [AT] - Antitank.
  • [CLUS] - Cluster munitions.
  • [EO] - Electro-optical guidance. Lock on object.

I-TGT User Guide
The new I-TGT system is amazing and very easy to use. It allows you to plan target for each pylon and drop the bombs later simultaneously to hit different targets.

To drop the bomb(s) on GPS target(s):
1) Make sure you have GPS guided munitions.
2) Open the I-TGT Interface
3) Designate your target(s):
- With `DGN` you can select target on the map.
- The `GRID` option allows to provide a grid for target.
- If you have targeting camera, you can get its aiming position with `POI` button. This will only get current aiming position, it cannot be used to track the target and make bomb follow the target.
4) Click `LIST` button.
5) Select GPS guided weapon pylon.
- You need to make sure the weapon is in GPS mode, click `EDIT` to check.
6) Having pylon selected, select the target in the right column.
7) Having both pylon and target selected, click `SEL` button.
- Repeat for each pylon/target you want to hit. One pylon can have only one target assigned! New selection will override previous data.
8) After selecting all targets, leave the I-TGT interface by clicking `EXIT` or `Esc`.
9) Select your weapon. Make sure the mode shown on the HUD is `I-TGT Mode`.
10) Drop the bomb(s) with speed/altitude so they can glide towards their targets.
- If you are too slow/low/far the bomb will probably hit the ground somewhere on its way to the target. You need to experiment a bit with this to be sure the bomb can hit the target every time.

Assigning different targets for bombs on one pylon is not supported.
AGM-65B (TV Guidance/TVM) tutorial
TV guidance on AGM-65B is available only in A-10A (please correct me if I'm wrong).
  1. Switch to AGM-65B
  2. On scroll menu select TVM ON
  3. Click Ctrl + RMB to open TGP view.
  4. Lock your target to POINT tracking (Ctrl + T; just selecting target with T and leaving TGP unattached to the target doesn't work)
  5. On scroll menu select Target acquisition
  6. you should see the chat message "Target Found. Locking..."

Could we get an update on the most current ammo? Like the brimstones for example?
3Mydlo3  [autor] 3 marca o 11:37
@Cornfleak TV guidance on AGM-65B is available only in A-10A (IIRC). Switch to AGM-65B, on scroll menu select TVM ON, click Ctrl + RMB to open TGP view. Lock your target to POINT tracking (Ctrl + T; just selecting target with T and leaving TGP unattached to the target doesn't work). Then select `Target acquisition` and you should see the chat message "Target Found. Locking..."

As for the Anti-Rad e.g., AGM-88 HARM, it seems to have changed slightly now. If you're being tracked already, just press `R` (next target) and you can fire. If you're not tracked and further away, you need a targeting pod. Open it, find your target and RMB/T it. You should see the diamond with a dot, it means you can fire.
3Mydlo3  [autor] 3 marca o 11:37
@Nobutora I-TGT should be openable via scroll menu. If it's not, then you're missing a targeting pod (like LITENING or Sniper XR). Attach it on some pylon if possible (not all planes support them).

@Emu I've just tried AIM-54C Phoenix on Altis and it works pretty well up to around 21 km just as in the guide.
Cornfleak 2 marca o 2:05
uh how do we use the tv and anti rad guidance i need help
Nobutora 21 września 2023 o 6:59
how the hell you open up this I-TGT system menu, this is absurd
Emu 4 maja 2023 o 4:40
how can you fire those air to air missiles like the phoenix and the meteor beyond 16km? i thought all missiles were hardlocked to only be able to have a maximum range of 16km due to arma's engine limitations
Potts2023 1 maja 2023 o 16:50
Yeah it doesn't show up in the scroll menu
3Mydlo3  [autor] 1 maja 2023 o 3:03
Not sure what do you mean. If you remote control units, sadly some interactions aren't shown, but it's just due to how remote controlling works. I personally didn't notice if I-TGT action menu option is available when remote controlling.
