Meteoric Glass Armory

Description
Adds new weapons and armors based off of the Ayleids of old and their love for meteoric iron and glass. Inspired by ingame texts The Song of Pelinal and From the Skys. Start by heading to Bilegulch mine near Falkreath hold and follow the clues of the dead scholar within. Be warned- you will have to face off against the ghosts of ancient Ayleid warriors drawn to the Varliance emanated by the meteorites.

I'm just trying to live my life and every time I bump into the hostile NPC's of this mod they keep 1 hit killing me and my followers on legendary difficulty no matter how leveled I am.

Also - I didn't provide a pickaxe. I just tested the file and received the correct items from all the ores, so I'm afraid I'm not sure what your issue is.

Of course it's hard to get ahold of the material - it may be the most common of Aetherial shards but it's not like Aetherial Shards are common themselves. This material was the same material utilized by the Ayleid Sorcerer Kings and Umaril the Unfeathered (alongside wrought varliance) to slay Madness-Made-Flesh Pelinal, and in game terms it has a sizable boost to enchanting magnitude. It's very much an endgame armor meant to contest dragonscale due to it's enchantment boost.

I like the concept of your MOD. but at this moment I dislike the amount of hoops one has to jump through to use this smithing perk.

PLUS

To mine the "glass ore" one has to have a Ancient Nord Pickaxe.
To mine the "Meteorite Ore" I can not use "any" pickaxe" (I picked up the pickaxe provided and it wouldn't recognize I had THE pickaxe, or any in my inventory)
I do recognize the difference between the original ore in the mine with the ore you have placed there.
I still believe that your ore shows up as Corundum ore, and not the Meteor ore, in the inventory menu, after one mines your ore. Corundum is greenish. Your ore is blueish.

I didn't remember that type of iron, so didn't know it was light. ps {I'm not a dude- it'll be our secret :D}. Looks better than the gold.

Well, just going by the looks of this picture, it looks pretty good, I'm glad someone finally changed all that gold to some other color, most vanilla glass weapons look more gold than glass and that's always bothered me. The one thing that sounds odd is iron with glass, glass usually being a light metal and iron heavy, unless you're saying this different type of iron is light. I may give this a try whenever I get back to a light armor, though I'm usually in heavy.:goldshield:

Are you sure you were mining the ore? It's bright blue and the glass looks like darker stalhrim.
