Fix the Mouse Acceleration issues
Go to ‘\My Documents\My Games\HOMEFRONT\GCGame\Config’ and open ‘GCEngine.ini’.
Set the following variables as:
bEnableMouseSmoothing=False

First, go to your ‘\steam\steamapps\common\homefront\engine\config’ directory. Back up all files before you make any changes.

  1. Open ‘baseinput.ini’ – now under [Engine.PlayerInput] find “bEnableMouseSmoothing=true”, change this to
    bEnableMouseSmoothing=false
  2. Next, under that, in the same section, add a line
    bViewAccelerationEnabled=false
Now that you have disabled mouse acceleration, your in-game mouse setting will reset and you may have to re-adjust sensitivity since there is a difference between accelerated and non-accelerated sensitivity.

Not for modern standards in FPS games, I've owned a 144hz monitor for 5 years and now own a 240hz one. Would have been nice if I could use it.

There needs to be a correction for the Mouse smoothing part, the mouse smoothing commands are found in GCInput.ini and not GCEngine.ini

Adjusted per above Tweak but had Error popup regarding DX11 Shaders... and I cannot copy and paste error message as should be available in Windows ..of course due to this Stupid aspect of Windows always.. One has to make a Screen Shot to record such which is INSANE. I will Play around with what I adjusted and see. I have an AMD card. I had to Change these back to False with an AMD Card and causes error message if used on a VEGA 64 and does not make sense to make TRUE anyway :

If you have an ATI Video card
Go to ‘\My Documents\My Games\HOMEFRONT\GCGame\Config’ and open ‘GCEngine.ini’.
Set the following variables as:
DisableATITextureFilterOptimizationChecks=True
UseMinimalNVIDIADriverShaderOptimization=True
