TACTIC TO PROGRESS FAST!!!!

Introduction

I am a Knifer, which means I go Knife only most of the time.

The snipers have a saying: 'One shot, one kill'.

The knifer says: 'No shot, 10 kills'! :)

To proove this is legit, here's my Shovel Diamond Camo:



Now because I'm into knifing, saw something odd in the camo challenges...

The Plot

I didn't play IW, but here is a difference here between Black Ops 3 and COD WW2:

In BO3, to get the Diamond Camo, you had to get all Gold Camo's on ALL SECONDARY WEAPONS.

But in WW2, you only have to get it on MELEE WEAPONS.

The Guide

So you think 'what's the deal here?'.

To get the Diamond Camo, you need to get Gold on ALL MELEE WEAPONS.



But at the launch of this game, which is now, THERE IS ONLY !!!!ONE!!!! MELEE WEAPON!!!

So consequently, if you get your Shovel to Gold, you get the Diamond Camo for Free!!!

Nomore pistol challenges, and rocketlauncher challenges and whatnot like in BO3, to get all SECONDARIES to Gold!

Since Melee is it's own Category now, and there is only ONE melee weapon (the shovel) IT IS EASY LIKE NEVER BEFORE TO GET TO DIAMOND!!!

General Knifing Tips

- You want the airbourne class to run fast.

- You could also take the mountaineer (Sniper) Class, if you have it up to level 5 already (No footstep sound)

- Airbourne is easier, because you can start with it if you haven't progressed it yet, and the first thing you get is longer sprint time. Perfect to close the gap as a Knifer.

- Stay in the buildings and surprise your enemies.

- Eventually, you'll get your 200 kills you need to unlock the real challenges.

The real Challenge

Here is where the fun starts:

- For the Backfire-Medals, you just need luck. (Backfire is: Killing an enemy with the Shovel, then picking his gun up and killing him with his own gun).

Tip here: You probarbly learned the spawns by now.

1) Run to their spawn, and stay in the closest building to it.
2) When they spawn, eventually someone enters 'your' building. Shovel him down!! xD
3) Take his weapon, and SWITCH CORNERS. He knows where you were when you killed him. If you're lucky, he comes back for revenge.
4) Since you know where he'll spawn, you know from what direction he'll be approaching. :) He probarbly enters the same room again, aiming at the corner you were before. But you switched places and get your backfire medal! :)

- The Gold Camo is REALLY hard. You need to get 5 Bloodthirsties Shovel-Only!!
A Bloodthirsty is a 5 Killstreak with the shovel. This is important!! If you get a 3 Killstreak with the shovel, and kill someone with a grenade (or some other weapon), IT DOESN'T COUNT!!!
ONLY SHOVEL-KILLS COUNT!!!
(You can have a 7 Killstreak and if 5 of them are Shovelkills, it's ok. But there NEED to be 5 Shovel-Kills in the streak!)

1)Here I equip a Flashbang (Stun) instead of a lethal grenade. It helps stopping enemies in their tracks to Shovel them.
2) Also, you can throw the Flashbang in a room where there are multiple enemies. When they're stunned, start 'Digging'! :)
3)For the Bloodthirsties you DEFINITELY want to stay indoors! Don't run around outside and get sniped.
4)You want to play levels that provide much cover, because you need to surprise the enemy. Don't play on open levels with long lines of sight.
Here's a selection of nice Shovel-Levels

4.1) Aachen (Easy spawns, lots of cover)
4.2) USS Texas (Stay inside the ship with the airbourne class. Surprise 'em around a corner!)
4.3) Saint Mary of the Mount (There are 3 houses to enter. One next to your spawn, one in the middle of the map, and one next to their spawn. Stay in the middle house until you have 2-3 Shovel Kills. Thenn PUSH ON to the house next to their spawn.They won't be expecting you there, they mostly just run through, that's when you shovel them.
4.4) Forget the Snipefest Gustav Cannon, you can't get a decent Shovel-Streak there, for obvious reasons...
