Ruin Restoration

Description
There are imho two types of ruins in the game.

Ancient ruins and recent/modern ruins.

The ancient ruins belong to ancient factions like The Second Empire. The modern ruins belong to current factions and were mostly destroyed during the recent wars.

This mod allows you to buy and restore most of these modern ruins.

FAQ:

Can I build outside the ruins?
No this mod only makes the ruined buildings available for sale

Why did the loot inside the building disappear after I bought it?
Like with normal purchases after buying a building everything that is inside of the building gets removed.

Why can I no longer buy ruins that belong to faction X?
Are you perhaps at war with that faction? You can not buy buildings from a faction that is hostile towards you.

It works for me.

Is it possible to make the gates and walls purchasable as well? Or, at least the gates? If you could do that then you could truly own the town.

Fantastic work, but I think more ruins should be added to the list.

You could buy the ruined buildings and then go to editor mode and move the town placement for that ruined site, then you can build it as a settlement.

Correct, ruined buildings are just a building in a pre-existing settlement that you can own and has nothing to do with the settlement space itself unfortunately.
