Animal Armour

Description
Adds craftable Animal Armour to the heavy armour smithy. Many animals can be recruited in vanilla gameplay by exploiting a police bug (patched). You need this mod to get spiders: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1137685452

There is no mesh (visuals while equipped) at this time. Balancing TBD. Use the new Animal Armour TEST game start to try it out!

This is a custom mod for my latest playthrough. I intend to dethrone the bugmaster with spiders >XD

Dethroning was successful! The spiders didn't help much being a couple dozen against hundreds O.O

It would be great if there were light, medium and heavy armour, each with their penalties (or not) like the humanoids' ;-)

ok, i got it now. my other mod wild life spawns some uber elder beak thing. they have some 1k-4k stats. these beasts raided Catun and killed half of the population:lunar2019coolpig:

Armours don't have bleed modifiers and bleed is tied to cut. Try it again with full damage info enabled and let me know what the numbers are exactly, parenthesis and all. I can figure it out from that.

with ur armor my pets ( adult Garrus ) got 1shoted by 1 beak thing "due to blood lost bal bla died".

i reloaded an repeated it serveral times, still same result. 5 dead garrus. without ur armor none died, they even kill that thingy. something seems to be off with blood balance.

i'm using Primal Wildlife(mod) too, maybe thats the issue :lunar2019deadpanpig:

Nope. It's not a dependency, they do totally different things.

Let me know if the protection values seem off. Haven't patched since the heavy armour rebalance. Coverage will be as intended but the actual damage mitigation is algorithmic and may be lower than advertized.

@gasses888 Yes, but you'll need another mod to get the spiders. There's a game start included here but it's rather cheaty and you can't get more if they die.
