Need to know tips that will make you hard to hit, and hit harder!

Tips on how to PWN!

So you're fighting the stick who's been crowned for 10 levels in a row, and ask yourself, "is it that I can't hit him, or is he really good at hitting me?" Either way, you hate him. You want him dead.

The sad reality though, is it's probably both... so how do we fix that? Well let's see.

Step 1: DON'T JUST STRAFE!

If you stay in the same spot moving side to side, ol' mate is gonna hit you, ok? You're like a target practise dummy. Try jumping and ducking to make it harder for him to hit you - jumping over him, just going crazy to confuse him.
Well that may sound easy, but make sure you're always clicking in his direction. If you're jumping spaSTICKly (How seamless was that?!) around him without punching him, it'll do nothing.
So that's step one, JUMP LIKE CRAZY!

Step 2: Directional Punching

It's all good to aimlessly punch someone, or stab someone, or shoot someone god I sound like a maniac... anyway, this isn't going to do you any favours against skilled players, in-game or in real life.
Directional Punching refers to punching in an intended direction to move them into a desired location - generally up!
Combining the previous two by jumping around them, then punching them in the air will not only make them hard to hit, but make them have to re-adjust their position! They'll hate you, and that's good!

Step 3: Blocking... obviously

I've seen loads of fighters just hold block while fighting, and it does nothing. DON'T JUST HOLD BLOCK!!
A) You need to aim it at their FIST, not just them. This can be hard but generally aiming at the top of their body does the trick.
B) Preempt their hits. This game is Peer 2 Peer, meaning it will be a little laggy... always. Block a second before they go to hit, so it actually registers in time.

Move super fast!

So you couuuld run and jump everywhere, which is fun. But it's not very efficient... what you should do is run and PUNCH everywhere! Yea~h
In order to move faster, simply run, jump and punch all in the same direction - you'll be able to move a hell of a lot faster! Instead of waiting to fall to the ground though, just duck to pull yourself straight to the ground, and do it again! woooow
To climb faster, just punch up whilst jumping off the wall! Easy!

Throw stuff!!!

Think your arch nemisis is nearly dead and have a weapon but you're too far away and getting close is too much of a risk? THROW IT WITH THE F KEY! (Or Y for controller). Throwing does significant damage, and is also a badass way to win.

Hit position matters!

Right when you thought positioning of punches didn't matter, it DOES! Headshots do much more damage, so try super hard to sock em on in the snozzer yeah? Cool. This isn't only with punching, but shooting, and slicey dicing! Headshots with a katana or Teleblades (Yeah, I call them that, shutup) give you a 1 SHOT KILL!!! (On 100HP) so try to hit them where it matters.

The shield jump!

This movement is basically the same as the 'Move Super Fast' section, but a little faster, so get your fingers locked and loaded for this one, as it takes some pretty precise clicking. By jumping as stated in the 'Move Super Fast' section, tap the block (right click) button a fraction of a second before you punch. This will add a little more momentum to your jump. It can be hard to master, but when you do, you can fly around the map guaranteed someone is going to call "HACKS".

Homeyworker - Their bodies are split into different sections which take damage differently. Whatever you hit a player with, the same rules will apply.

So yes, throwing at head will deal more damage.
