Operation Zitronella

Description
During the Second World War, the Svalbard archipelago was the scene of
a number of military operations. In April 1942, a Norwegian force landed at Barentsburg
in Operation Fritham, intended to establish a permanent presence in the islands.
The operation met considerable difficulties, but by the summer of 1943, the Norwegians
were well established.

Meanwhile, the German Navy deployed its last two operational battleships
to attack the Allied presence on Spitzbergen.(Operation Zitronella) commenced on 7 September 1943,
as the battleship Tirpitz, battle cruiser Scharnhorst and nine destroyers appeared off Longyearben
at dawn and landed 608 menof the 349th Infantry Regiment directly onto the settlement's main pier.
They drove off the Norwegian garrison and destroyed the battery of 3-inch guns,
capturing the garrison commander and his official files intact.

Your mission:

We are Quite Lucky that Germany did not Build good Hellicopters durring WW2... When one considders that they were Armed ground force oriented, and that a Good Copter Supporting Tigers, would have been very hard to defeat, because the copters would have flanked anything anywhere, and that they had good periscopes and could well have developed the near equivalent of a LongBow of the Russian equivalent... Just immagine the remote terrain advantage that copters could have enjoye, because they could have focused on that and never even needed Bombers like the He 111... Which was too damn vulnerable anyway...

If, for example, they deployed sever thousand tank busting choppers, that could each carry 6-8 troops, just imagine how they could have deployed whole armies in the middle of the night to flanking positions of every single town and city... Use their fighters as CAP cover for the copters... There would be almost no stopping such tactics.... Copters or 4 engine bombers... Of course some will argue that they had the Heinkel Grief Bomber... But that beauty had a rep for cooking its crews alive :-P
