Rid TF2 of Hackers/Cheaters

TF2's cheater problem is becoming worse and worse. This guide is meant to seriously help the community with this problem. This method will require the help of most players in TF2, everyone should consider creating a new habit with what will be provided in the following guide. (This guide mostly applies to Competitive match making)

Since VAC is not working, in the mean time it is up to the community to ease the problem until it is fixed. Hackers have gone too long without justice.

(Ive noticed that a lot of users say reporting doesnt work in their experience and a lot say it does work.)

How To Rid a Hacker

This is the most important part of the Guide:

REPORT THE HACKER WITH F7.
That may sound ridiculous but everyone has forgotten that it actually works, many people say it doesnt but it actually does.

I have done it myself and it has worked.


It should be made a habit for everyone on the server to report the hacker, even the team with the hacker (If we do this then we can give hackers and cheaters no toleration)
With the more reports a hacker gets, the more likely they will get banned, and 11 reports for hacking is a lot if the whole server does it

If the rest of the server is not convinced that reporting will work then do not worry, over time it will gradually become more accepted as long as the people reading this follow the guide.

How Hackers Should Be Treated/Dealt With

• If you encounter a hacker, complaining to them or insulting them will not help, especially if they are aware that everyone is mad. A trolling hacker will find satisfaction in the reaction, this is why trolling hackers hack, they do it for the reaction and insulting them only drives them more. This is why they should be ignored and not talked to.
  
  
• Every team member and enemy should ignore and shun the hacker. If you are on the team of the hacker DO NOT SUPPORT them; this includes healing, using team work with them, or helping them. If they are not ignored and the team uses the hacker then the hacker will continue to be tolerated, this is not good because it affects everyone's gameplay later on.
  
  
• To summarize, Do not support or help them in anyway and shun and ignore them

Please share this guide with others, it requires a working effort from the community to deal with this problem. This guide is an attempt to organize the community and to bring what could be future common knowledge. Hackers are literally destroying the Competitive community, its time to fix it.

Hopefully Valve solves this problem later and this guide would no longer be of use

Reporting does nothing, in the event that it does do someting, its only a year ban from casual, in wich, a player can just make a new account and continue cheating.
But, the tf2 WILL break cheats for a short ammount of time, as when valve updates the game it tends to update offsets/sigs and stuff. To recap, reporting only bans them from casual, it does not give them a vac ban.
