Causes
Batteries are stuck due to the following problems:

1. Batteries slightly wider than those in the box (in my case it happens with Energizer® RECHARGE + | AA)
2. The control has very small space for the batteries (Valve® does not design correctly the control for the entrance of batteries apparently)
You will need the following
1. Insulating tape, or any other adhesive that coils in the batteries and is very resistant
2. A control with batteries stuck (sorry for the sarcasm :D)

That's just what we'll need to remove the batteries
Process
1. Take some tape and place only one tip on the battery
2. Start spinning the battery until you can see the tip that you paste and then peel off the tip.
3. Stick both ends
4. Now press the button to remove the battery (Remember this or we could damage the control)
5. Pull both strips outwards, or in the opposite direction to how the batteries are inserted
Results
Finally we will have what would be the control with the batteries outside and without need to disarm the control
Recommendations
Put some tape to avoid the procedure and remove the batteries the easier way the next time.

Buy Duracell® batteries to avoid this problem (rechargeable or non-rechargeable).

Nice idea. I'd taken to getting (similar to Ezekial) a relatively sharp metal object and pushing down onto the top of the flat of the battery and gently pressuring to move it outwards.

This approach from the OP is far more elegant and less prone to damage etc.

I use the tiny screwdriver from an eyeglass repair kit. It's a little harsh on the plastic but it works. I guess the plastic wore down enough that the batteries don't get stuck anymore.
