VCCM is now included in the main GCCM mod. That means you no longer need to subscribe to this mod here in order to play custom maps on the Vortex Campaign!

Grand Campaign Custom Maps 2
We're back! GCCM brings custom maps to the campaign, with the goal of increasing visual and gameplay variety. The project was started during the first game and we will continue in the Mortal Empires campaign and TWW3.

Requirements
You need the Custom Assets mod, and the GCCM: Settlement Pack 01. You don't need the GCCM: Mortal Empires mod, but you can use it, it doesn't conflict.

The plans
A new game with new races means a new start for GCCM, with completely new maps for all the new locations. The long term goal is a custom map for every settlement, as well as custom land battle maps for different regions to increase variety there as well.

Now that we are starting fresh, we will have stricter quality control. We have created a series of map making guidelines based on our experience making maps and adding them to the campaign in TWW1, which you can view here. We encourage all map makers to join the map makers discord[www.discord.io] channel, which is a place for all map makers to share WIP, discuss ideas and ask for feedback. Please note that this channel is not limited to GCCM, so if you're looking to make a multiplayer map or something else, please feel free to join as well!

In addition to that, we now have a more organized bug tracker. You don't need an account to submit an issue. Please include as much info as you can, and screenshots are generally very useful as well. You can find the bug tracker here[bitbucket.org].

Patreon
GCCM is fundamentally a colabarative project, where we incorporate the maps of many different creators into the campaign. The discord channel has been a great way for all of us to share our individual WIP maps and get feedback, and we want to use the GCCM project to help grow TWW's map making community. This is part of the reason that we started the GCCM Patreon, which we want to use to create competitions in order to incentivise and reward map makers.

A strange question perhaps, but do you have the original of that vortex (campaign) map image used as this mod's picture (i.e. without words)? It looks like a painted version of campaign "paper" map, which would be quite nice to have in game (there is a mod on workshop that does exactly this, but only for ME map sadly, so yours could be a companion to that).

Well, I had a weird error using the main mod (or the gccm_me_00_main). The norsca settlement near the dark elves, dagrak's end is the name if I'm not mistaken... Instead of loading the ice map, it loaded that lustria map, Skeggi. Then I tried to load this mod instead, unmarked the gccm_me_00 in the mod manager and, this time, the game loaded the right map.
