Intel Locations

A guide to all the intel locations in Spec Ops: The Line.

Welcome!

If you're like me you came into this game a little late and if you're also like me you like some achievement/secret hunting, so let's dive right in there and get you those intel pieces.

Some intels I've already picked up and don't show up in the screens but if you follow the pictures and guide you'll see it flashing before your eyes.

Chapter 1

Intel 1/2:

When you reach your first objective in a makeshift camp turn around and you'll see the intel on a chalkboard full of papers.

Intel 2/2:

Later on in the mission you'll come across a downed airplane and some enemies (this is also the part where the game shows you how to equip a silencer). After clearing out the enemies make your way into the plane and find the black box on the ground.

Onward to Chapter 2!

Chapter 2

Intel 1/2:

The first intel in Chapter 2 is located right at the beginning. Check out the area covered with an umbrella to find it before you drop down and silently take out your first enemies.

Intel 2/2:

This next one isn't too far after the first. You'll enter the first building and shoot some enemies in a recording studio, after it's cleared out head downstairs to the area that looks like this:


Walk over to the right and near the back and you'll see a small cassette tape on the ground, intel 2/2:


Short and sweet chapter 2, lets get going to 3.

Chapter 3

Intel 1/1:

Only one intel in this chapter and it's relatively in the beginning. After you avoid being blown up by c4 enemies throw at you you'll enter in a cutscene with two dudes talking and after the cutscene it'll look like this:


After you take those first enemies out don't go forward, turn around and you'll see some shiny jewellery on the ground for the intel in Chapter 3 (again, I already picked it up but it's pretty obvious once you turn around):


Easy enough, lets find them in Chapter 4.

Chapter 4

Intel 1/2:

The first intel is right at the beginning, you're going to walk down a hallway, turn left and you'll see a door closed to your right where the first intel will be on the ground:

And it'll be on the ground right here below the door:


Intel 2/2:

The second intel in this chapter is right after the first time you rappel.


After rappelling you'll be in a room like this:


And the intel will be on this desk (again, I already snatched it up but they blink for you to easily spot):


Chapter 5 time!

Chapter 5

Intel 1/2:

After you zipline to another building and take a few enemies out in a large area with treadmills


continue downstairs but before you walk forward to your objective check out the small room to the left.


The intel will be on the ground as soon as you walk in:


Intel 2/2:

The second intel in this chapter is after the second time you zipline.


Go foward across here:


In the following room, don't go toward your objective but up these stairs instead.


Work your way around and you'll reach a bedroom and you'll see the intel on the ground next to the bed.


Let's tackle Chapter 6.

Chapter 6

Intel 1/1:

This intel is a little later in the level, you'll drop down to an area with a lot of rotting bodies


then you'll come across more bodies infront of a hanging flag with their faces covered.


The intel is next to them on a little desk.


That's it for Chapter 6! To 7 we go.

Chapter 7

Intel 1/2:

The first intel in this level is quite far in the level. After you take out a second machine gun nest you'll come across a checkpoint


See that soldier and stop sign? Run over there and grab that intel off the stop sign.


Intel 2/2:

Shortly after intel 1 you'll come across the white phosphorus part. The next intel is after you kill the juggernaut and reach this area


The intel is to the left of the door to your next objective.


No intel in chapter 8 so lets move on to chapter 9.

Chapter 8

Nothing!

Chapter 9

Intel 1/1:

This intel is right at the beginning, these are sometimes the hardest ones to find because we never think to turn around at the start. Swivel that camera around!


Walk to the back of the room and you'll see the intel, an American flag hanging on this wall


Count it! Let's go to Chapter 10 y'all.

Chapter 10

Intel 1/2:

The first intel is close to the beginning, walk through the first tent


and you'll come to a larger tent


the intel is on the desk to the right.


Intel 2/2:

The second intel is after you save some survivors and right after the cinematic you'll see the intel on the little table to the right.

Nothing in 11, we're moving to 12.

Chapter 11

Another freebie!

Chapter 12

Intel 1/2:

The first intel is after the really long zipline and killing the enemy as soon as you get off the line, landing you in a room like this:


The intel is to the right of the stairs next to the crate on the ground.


Intel 2/2:

Later in the level you'll run across this room:


Your objective is upstairs but run to the back of this room and check the bathroom on the left.


The intel is sitting right on the sink.


Making sweet progress, lets head to Chapter 13.

Chapter 13

Intel 1/2:

After meeting back up with Adams you'll have to defend him and clear out some enemies. After you secure the area you'll move through a plane into this area


When you exit this area the objective is to meet up and find Lugo.


Don't follow your objective yet, turn around and behind you on the ground will be the first intel in the level.


Intel 2/2:

A lot later in the mission you'll finally meet up with Lugo, after the cutscene and going through the camp you'll come here:


Notice the candle stand on the left, that's where your intel is.


Home stretch guys! Chapter 14, here we go.

Chapter 14

Intel 1/2:

The first intel is after you clear out a building and proceed to move indoors.


Walk up these steps and you'll see the intel on a chair to your right.


Intel 2/2:

A little longer in the level you'll come across a juggernaut. After taking him out, enter this building.


Before going up the stairs on the right, head to the back of the room with the American flag.


The intel is right on the flag on the wall.


One more chapter to go!

Chapter 15

Intel 1/2:

These last two intel are in the same room after you exit the elevator.


It's kind of hard to see but there's a stairwell on the right that you go up to grab the first one.


Go up these stairs and to the right you'll see the intel on the desk.


Intel 2/2:

Now, before you head up the stairs and complete the game head to the left side of the room.



You'll find the intel on the coffee table.


You did it! Good ol' fashioned achievement hunting right there. Congratulations!
