Flagellant "I ain't even mad!"

Flagellants are ment to beat themselves for the sins of all men, he was most likely explaing that to that man at the end.

@wolfwarrior My guess would be that becuase he was just a simple begger who hanged on to his frath, When he was being beaten he realise he found enjoyent out it and becuase of that and that he was just a begger who hanged on to his strong frath, he thought he had transcend to be beacon of pain and suffering for all sin, and that's how he became the "The flaggelant"

As for the man who was beating him he was probaby more shocked then anything.

As far as I know flaggelant beat themselves to gain forgivenes for their sins. So I guess from the beating he realized this is the way he was meant to pay for his sins (because he enjoys it I guess). And the guy who was beating him either got confused frim him enjoying it, OR he saw his face regocnized him, maybe he was a priest?
