How to Be a Pirate

This is actually not a joke, it's a pretty helpful guide

Introduction

Now dispite the silly name this is one of the most important roles in the new map Farranac Coast.
What a pirate does is patrol the seas in a APC or Barge. As a pirate you ambush and take down barges and APCs full of precious troops and cargo or even better board them and steal them for your team.

Gear

Gear

As a pirate this gear will be very useful for your pirate adventures.

This is a list of gear ranked for their usefulness

Guns
Rifle - Can apperantly kill a barge driver (not confirmed)
Carbine - Not very useful shooting from boat to boat is very hard
HMG - Not very useful, you can't shoot it in a barge and it's not mobile enough for a APC
Shotgun - This will be you best friend as a pirate as you can hit multiple targets at a time and the range is pretty good for your situation.
Other
HE Grenade - Screw the shotgun actually THIS will be your best friend as a pirate. When you get within range throw your HE grenades.
It takes 3 grenades for a APC and 4 for a barge
For a barge after you throw 3 HE grenades just shoot it with your gun a lot and that should sink it, but if you are impatient throw another HE.
Wrench - This will come in handy when you are stealing locked ships
Binos - Use it to find other boats and stuff, it's pretty essential

Tactics

APC Tactics

When attacking a barge as a APC chase it, you are faster and throw HE at it when you are on it's tail. When you disable it keep throwing HE until it catches fire and just shoot it if you want to save HE grenades. When attacking another APC ram it. When it is subdued throw 3 HE gerenades at it before it can throw HE at you. You can also pepper it with a shotgun or just throw 2 HE and steal its cargo after wrenching it if you are low on supplies.

Barge Tactics

When attacking another barge ram it and throw 3 or 4 HE at it for a easy kill. When attacking a APC DON'T ram it head on as your ramp makes it harder to hit them with HE, but they can easily hit you. Keep your sides to them at all costs as it's easy to throw and shoot over. A barge is hard to capture as the crew may be spread all over the barge and one HE cannot kill all of them. In this case pepper them with a shotgun, don't stop shooting until they're all dead. Also I think you can throw HE into the cockpit and kill the pilot (Tell me if this is true or not) so try that. If you are being chased by an APC climb on the boxes at the back and throw HE at the pursuing APC.

You are SLEEPING on gas grenades. You can wipe a gunboat crew with 1-2.

Stickies are great throwing from barge to barge. My best luck has been blasting stuff with 9mm submachine guns.

I see some wrong and outdated things but it's mostly weapon nerfs and calling a barge expensive while comparing it to an APC (bmats/rmats).
Barge tactics tab could be improved by just having the driver go backward instead of forward.
They are talking about the ability to kill the driver but as far as I know unless gas is being used you can't kill closed top vehicle crew.
