HUNTER Q3A (Quake 3 Arena)

BRIEF HISTORY :

This is a skin from a 1998 game called Quake 3 Arenu. One of the most influential games of that period and a game that shaped the FPS genre. It was a game from ID publisher that also made DOOM and WOLFENSTEIN series which are equally amazing.



HUNTER:

In my opinion, HUNTER is one of the most interesting and memorable characters from this title right next to Sarge, Anarchy, Mynix, Ranger, Xero, and of course Visor. With her brutal and fast approach to any battle right from the easiest difficulty of the game, she was really a challenging opponents. Dead precision with the Railgun, A$$ frying with Lightning gun, and phenomenal with Plazma rifle, she was truly a worthy opponent in any match which she made much prettier with appearance, in contact to grim, bloody and hellish maps of Q3A. She was also depicted by fans as an ancient warrior-leader from some faraway part of the Universe competing in the Q3A. Truly a unique and amazing character.

In the original game she normally wore the most iconic dark green costume, but she could also be seen in a typical blue or (dark) red one if you were playing in teams in game modes like Team Deathmatch, Capture the Flag etc. Though, those ones were added later.


It's really a shame that we won't see her in an upcoming ID / Bethesda Quake game called QUAKE CHAMPIONS as one of the Champions.
