This quick tip is on getting the correct rates set up in-game. Many people don't know much about rates and I see a lot of incorrect figures floating around forums and what not.

hi hatton .. thank u for ur help... i selected a good crosshairs and also th eradar which i use.. but whan i changed the rate , cl_updaterate,interu.. i think somethin is wrong with it... it is just very slow plz post the default rates so can i correct it... also i have a lenovo laptop, i3, 4 gb ram, 1gb nvidia graphice my fps are max 58.. thank u in advance.....:)

continued: open with notepad or some other text editor u prefer... then scroll all the way to the bottom and enter the commands, just look at how the other commands that are already in the config.cfg file are entered, if u are unsure how exactly/where exactly to enter the commands. when finished save the file, then right click config.cfg to get to its properties, and u want to make the file read only... this will make it so the game lacks the permissions to change the configuration file, when settings are changed via the options menu. Sry if this sounds like gibberish to u, i did my best to explain it lol.

OK for everyone asking how to enter these cmds permanently... In other words, so they do not reset back to default whenever start a fresh instance of the game. You want to go into your steam program files folder... wherever that may be (def.= c:/programfilesx86/steam/) once there navigate to steamapps/common/counter strike global offensive/csgo/cfg/... Then once in the cfg/ folder the file u want is config.cfg.
