I ask because I tried to play 3-4 years ago without all the fixes in both versions, and I felt like the origin version was better, there were fewer stutters, lags, the sims' actions were more varied, the city was more alive, but in the steam version after a while the city seemed to be completely empty, there were few sims, there were micro-freezes, but I don't know where it is played now, because I didn't install the version from the ea app
This dude's Sims 3 guides are the best I've ever seen and the entire community directs newbies to them constantly and he's been listening to the community and updating them for years. They're pretty awesome and conflicts are minimal which is very uncommon in Sims modding.
@Anime_Boom when I set everything up NRAAS Overwatch was already set to fire @5, that part of the guide may need to be looked at. I'm not sure when Simler is set to fire I'm pretty sure it was 3 tho so by default they don't fight eachother anymore.
I am not criticizing or even complaining really, I'm just expressing my frustration that the method to 'fix the sims" seems to change every 48 hours, and most people throw every single "fix" they come across at it. And noone has gone through (at least in a long time anyway) and figured out what is ACTUALLY needed, without any overlap or conflicts. It is very frustrating.
