You know whats funny... I have had this installed for so long that I completely forgot I had uploaded this mod... its like the sounds are just apart of the game for me, I don't even notice them any more...

So you joined a server and it downloaded some foot steps sound for you and you cant return the sound back to defualt? If this is correct I suggest checking your ( C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\GarrysMod\garrysmod ) folder, look for a folder named sounds in there and if there isn't one, then that not the issue, this is the only method I know so all else fails, copy your addons folder to your desktop or anywhere really, then redownload the game.
