What Is The Marshmallow/Rendering Bug

The Marshmallow/Rendering bug is where you parachute from the plane and the buildings on the map dont load in a sufficent amount of time and end up looking like this, In this tutorial ill be teaching you how to fix this error!

SSD VS HDD

If you want to quickly fix this error by buying some faster parts for your pc your best bet is by upgrading your HDD to a SSD this means if the game is installed on a SSD the game will has faster access to the game files due to the SSD's Faster read/write speed therfore the marshmallow texture bug cannont occur however there are some incidents where the marshmallow bug does still occur on SSD's due to either large amounts of storage on the SSD.

LOW ON MEMORY

If you are seeing the marshmallow texture bug and you have a SSD or a new and fast HDD but your low on ram you could be in need of more ram because 8GB of ram is just not enough for this game now and alot of people have started to upgrade to 16GB because there is a annoying memory leak in this game that also causes the Marshmallow/Rendering Bug at the moment and the only way to fix it is by restarting the game after every match or two

Defrag Your Hard Drive and Use Contig

Defraging your HDD can also dramatically increase the performance in nearlly any game that requires heavy work from the Hard Drive you can learn to defrag your HDD by looking at this video here

Contig is also a good way to defrag seperate files and ecspecially good just for gaming because it allows you to defrag the files you want to defrag this help me get rid of the bug and might fix it for you so take a look at the video I made about it

Launch Paramater

There is a launch parameter in steam called -lowmemory this launch paramater makes the game use low memory as it can so if your low on memory it will load the textures in faster or resolve them all together you can do this fix by
1. Going To Your Steam Library
2. Go to PLAYERUNKOWN BATTLEGROUNDS Properties
3. Launch Parameters
4. and then entering the code -lowmemory Then Enter
