Custom Character Portraits

This guide explains how to add custom character portraits to Star Trail HD.

Using the "charimage" folder

In your folder "Star Trail" (located in "Documents" or "My Files" depending on your OS version) you will find a directory named "charimage". Here you can store your own pictures that are supposed to be available as ingame character portraits.

Supported file formats are png, jpg and jpeg

Each picture should have a size of 256x256 pixels.

By adding "_m" or "_w" at the end of the filename you ensure that the game assigns the image to the corresponding character gender where "_m" is used for male and "_w" for female characters. Without one of the suffixes the portrait will be used for both genders.



Ingame, open the character sheet and click the button "change your character image" until your desired image appears in the character bar.
