Medic Weapons and Loadouts
Autorstwa: poop_nuts
Even though Medic has the smallest amount of unlockable weapons in Team Fortress 2, some of them are hard to understand, and some loadouts handle situations better than others. This guide was created for the Medic Education Situation Steam Group, so feel free to join!

Introduction.
It's a guide about Medic's weapons and good loadouts, doesnt get any simpler than that. This guide goes over each weapon, it's basic, dumbed-down stats, and what weapons work good with eachother.
Each Weapon and What It Does
Primaries

Syringe Gun: ♥♥♥♥.

Blutsauger: A weapon that decreases heal regened per second from 3 to 1, but when a Needle hits an Enemy, +3 is given to you. Good for playing offensively or needing to protect yourself more often.

Crusader's Crossbow: Probably the best Medic primary, you can heal people from extremely large distances by shooting them with your projectiles, and are rewarded with more healing done the farther they are away. However with its slow firing speed and lower damage, it's not too good for close range self-defense.

Overdose: Increases your speed when active, and increases speed the more your Ubercharge meter is filled up, for a change of Slightly less damage. Not too useful, but way better than the Syringe Gun.

Secondaries(Medi-guns)

Stock Medi-gun: Although having an average heal rate and the slowest Ubercharge rate, the Ubercharge given from it is very, very useful. It gives both you and your healing target 8 seconds of invulnerability, and that could turn the tide of a battle very quickly.

Quick Fix: My personal Favorite Medi-gun, it heals your heal target 40% faster than stock, mirrors all explosive jumps (Allowing you to jump with your heal target), and replaces your Invuln Uber with 300% healing rate and No pushback force taken from enemy attacks. Sounds overpowered, right? Well, no. Overheal is reduced my 50%, and when Ubered, large bursts of damage, critical hits, and Snipers and Spys can easily take you out.

Kritzkrieg: Very similar to the properties of the Stock Medi-gun, execpt when Ubered, gives you and your heal target 8 seconds of full critical hits, but no resistances or heal buffs. It also as 25% Uber rate, so thats good I guess.

Vaccinator: The most complicated Medi-gun, you can choose what resistance you want you and your heal target to have, and when healing, gives you and your heal target 10% resistance to that type of attack. And when Ubered, you can have 90% resistance to an attack, and FULL IMMUNITY TO CRITICAL HITS. And also, you can hold up to four 2.5 second ubercharges, and when all are used, it lasts longer than Any other medi-gun, having 10 seconds of full Uber, compaired to the other Medi-gun's 8 seconds. But, it has a slower overheal rate. It's pretty confusing to use at first, but once you learn it, it can be extremely overpowered, and the Slower Overheal rate doesnt compensate for that.

Melee Weapons

Bonesaw and it's Reskins: It has the highest DPS out of all of Medic's Melee weapons, so it's good for close-range combat for spies or enemies that get too close. Not a very good utility weapon, though.

Amputator: When taunting with this weapon active, you can heal all teammate in a small area at the rate of the Stock Medi-gun. However, you ate stuck motionless and unable to attack for 4 seconds, and it has a damage penalty of 20%. It also has +3 health regened, so thats good for being more passive for healing yourself.

Vita-saw: It's kinda useless, on death, you can keep up to 20% of you uber, depending on how much you had when you died, for a penalty of 10 health. However, if you can't stay alive long, and you dont get much uber, you dont get much back. It's a High-risk low-reward weapon doesn't penalize the player for dying, but it is easier to, anyway.

Ubersaw The best Medic Utility weapon, on hit, you can get 25% uber, for a 20% slower swing speed. That's way, way better than any other saw in Medic's arsenal. I don't see a need for any other weapon to use. And for some reason, it always crits, even though theoretically, all saws should crit the same amount of times.

Solemn Vow You can see enemies health. Thats it. Also 10% slower swing speed.

My Personal Loadouts
Defensive/All Around Loadout

My all-around or Defensive loadout, it delivers fast healing, and fast ubers.

It contains:

  • Crusader's Crossbow
  • Quick Fix
  • Ubersaw

Offensive/Protective Loadout

My offensive loadout, it gives me average healing, but can be negated by using the crossbow, and the Ubersaw to counter the slower Uber rate, so I can use these valuble Ubers faster.

It contains:

  • Crusader's Crossbow
  • Stock Medi-gun
  • Ubersaw

MvM Loadout

It's my Loadout specifically for MvM, more about that in my MvM guide.

It contains:

  • Blutsauger
  • Kritskrieg
  • Ubersaw
Other Loadouts
Some other loadouts that I don't use often, but are still good to know.

Alternate Defensive Loadout

Similar to the Quick Fix, the Kritzkrieg does a good job at defending things. Ubering a Power Class to stop a big rush from the Offending team can really clear out the area and allow your other teammates to regroup and rebuild.

Selfish Medic

This loadout is the for the Medic that is concerned more about their life, and not his teams. It has a high passive health regen, and option to escape if needed, and a way to become invincible if all else fails.

The f2p

"xd medic is a bad class y is he in the game lol ima play spy now"

Battle Medic

Don't.
