100% Achievements

A guide for getting every achievement in the game.

Introduction

This is a guide for getting every achievement in "Move or Die". Most of them are pretty tough when doing them alone, so I would recomend getting some friends to get all the achievements.

Most of the blue achievemens (which usually are "do this x times") can be farmed by creating a LAN game and controlling 2 characters. However, this is a tyring way to get them, so I would recommend palying the game normally and you will get almost every blue achievement eventually without getting too tired of the game. The only exception which needs to be farmed (since trying to get it by playing against AI it's really hard) it's "Stomp".

NOTE: Most of the achievements that requires more people, either for help or because it's necessary in order to obtain the achievement, can be also done by getting only 1 friend and controlling 2 characters each (Eg. WASD and ARROW KEYS). That way you will have a "4 people party" that will count towards certain achievements ("Kabloom", "Triple Scare" and "Nevermind Sharing" among others).

EDIT: Some of the achievements can be unlocked by using the level editor, which you can open through steam (when you click on play choose the "Level editor" option) or through the files where your game is installed. Once in, select the gamemode of the achievement you want to get, and depending on what you have to do, you will need to place some tiles or items, or you won't need to change anything. Once the level is ready, click on "Test" and you will be able to get the achievements.

Bomb Tag

You're it!
Pass the bomb 200 times.


You'll get this one eventualy while playing. To get it quicker you can also create a LAN game where you control 2 characters and farm it.


Diffusal
Pass the bomb right before it explodes.


You will probably get this one eventually aswell, but if you are having trouble just call a friend, take the bomb and touch your friend right before it explodes, when it's blinking really fast.

Boss Fight

Boss Killer
Kill 10 bosses.


You'll get this one eventualy while playing. To get it quicker you can also create a LAN game where you control 2 characters and farm it.


You're The Boss
As a player, deal more damage than all the other players combined.


Get 3 friends: 1 has to be the boss and the other 2 just need to deal as less damage to the boss as possible. Then kill the boss by yourself. However, I think you can get this ahchievement while playing against bots.


Untouchable
As the boss, win a round with -over- 90% of your health.


Get 3 friends and tell them not to damage you while you're the boss.

Building Blocks

Builder
Build 200 tiles in total.


You'll get this one eventualy while playing. You can make it faster by making long rows of blocks, although you won't be able to do it for a lot of time since the tiles will be going down faster every second.


Stairway To Heaven
Survive 30 seconds of stairway building fun.


I believe the easiest way to get this is playing against AI and surviving 30 seconds by only placing one block (you can use a couple at the beggining, but as soon as the speed of the tiles increase, you will need to use only 1 tile.). You can also go into the level editor and make a new level. Then click on "Test" and move so you just don't die.

Chainsaw Backstab

Schwing
Clash your chainsaw 80 times.


You'll get this one eventualy while playing. To get it quicker you can also create a LAN game where you control 2 characters and farm it.


Your Own Hand
Kill a player with his own chainsaw.


Clash the chainsaw until they fly away, get your oponent's one and kill him with it. You can also get it playing against bots I believe.

Cleanup Crew

Scrub
Clean up 100 splatters.


You need to clean the whole splatter. You'll get this one eventualy while playing. To get it quicker you can also creat a LAN game where you control 2 characters and farm it.



Jan Itor
Clean up more than half the surface.


You can get it by playing against bots. If having rouble just call 3 friends and try to clean as much as you can while they just try not to die.

Color Craze

Victory by paint
Paint 4000 tiles


You'll get this one eventualy while playing. To get it quicker you can also create a LAN game where you control 2 characters and farm it.


Overachiever
Win a round with more tiles than the other players combined.


Get three friends and paint almost all the map with your colour.


Are you even trying
Finish a round without any tile of your colour.


Get a mutator like the flood one where you can swim freely around the map. Try to touch the ground as less as possible, and let the players paint the few tiles you have with your colour.

Detonation Zone

Lotsa Bombs
Drop 100 bombs in total.


You'll get this one eventualy while playing. To get it quicker you can also create a LAN game where you control 2 characters and farm it.


Not a bright idea
Escape a bomb that's as big as the entire level.


Try to avoid every single bomb until pretty much the end of the round. You can get this playing online with a bit of practice. However you can also get some friends and tell them to place the bombs in the other side of the map.

Falling Blocks

It's raining death
Last 25 seconds in a round.


Get a friend which is decently good at this gamemode and try to last as much as you can. You might need some practice in order to survive all the time. TIP: I usually go as down as I can and stick to one of the borders, either right or left.


That guy
Push everybody around.


Just push every player in the round (I believe you need a full 4 players game, but I'm not sure).

Fizzle Floor

Ground Destroyer
Fizzle 200 tiles


You'll get this one eventualy while playing.


Ninja
Win a round after all the tiles have disappeared.


Wait until almost every platform is destroyed, then jump on one of the blocks that disappear when you touch them. That should give you time enough for getting the achievement. Remember that you also have to win.

Ghost Scare

Boo hoo!
Scare 50 players.


You'll get this one eventualy while playing. You can farm it by using the LAN method, but you would need to control 3-4 characters at the same time, which is pretty tough, so you would probably get it faster by playing normally.


Triple scare
Kill 3 players with a single scream.


Get 3 friends, get all together and kill them with one scream.

God Gun

Laser Digging
Destroy 100 tiles.


You'll get this one eventualy while playing. To get it quicker you can also create a LAN game where you control 2 characters and farm it.


Godly Beam
Kill 2 players with a single shot.


This shouldn't be really hard. Just try to destroy a good ammount of the map so they have no space to run away, although it's not necessary. If you're having trouble just call 2 friends.


Close Call
Avoid the beam in the very last second.


Get in the beam's range, and when you see the shooting animation move just so you stay next to it. Might take a few tries.

Hat Chase

King of the hat
Wear the hat for 100 seconds.


You'll get this one eventualy while playing. To get it quicker you can also create a LAN game where you control 2 characters and farm it.


Forteamress
Grab the hat 5 times.


Really simple, just take the hat 5 times in a single round.

Heavy Bullets

Heaviest Of Bullets
Shoot 100 bullets.


You'll get this one eventualy while playing. To get it quicker you can also create a LAN game where you control 2 characters and farm it.


That's Pretty Amazing
Kill yourself with your own bullet.


Get a bullet, face the wall and leave some distance between it and your character. Shoot and try to jump into your bullet when it bounces back. You can also use some mutators to help you, like teleport. Another method is going into the level editor, putting two teleporters facing each other and shooting into one of them, letting the bullet hit your back.

Hoops

At Least You Tried
Throw the ball 100 times.


You'll get this one eventualy while playing. You can also throw it as long as you can away from the other players since you don't need to score. To get it quicker you can also create a LAN game where you control 2 characters and farm it.


SLAM!
Successfully acomplish a jetpack dunk.


You need the jetpack mutator for this achievement. While being under the effect of the mutator, get the ball and fly into the net without throwing the ball.


From Afar
Score 3 long-shots ina single round.


You don't really need to be very far, just score by throwing the ball into the net from a decent distance (dunks don't count). If you're having trouble with getting the 3 shots in the same round just call some friends.

Jump Shot

Trigger happy
Shoot 100 bullets.


You'll get this one eventualy while playing. To get it quicker you can also create a LAN game where you control 2 characters and farm it.


Bullseye
Shoot an enemy bullet with your own bullet.


This one is a bit tricky. Get a friend to help you and try to coordinate to make your bullets clash.


Long Shot
Get a kill from the other side of the level.


You might get this while playing, but you have to be lucky. If needed, get a friend, split to the side of the levels and then kill him.

Loot Grab

All That Treasure
Gather 1000 thousand tokens.


You'll get this one eventualy while playing. To get it quicker you can also create a LAN game where you control 2 characters and farm it.


Loot Thief
Steal from 3 players in a match.


Wait until the rest of the players have some loot in their chest. When their not next to it, position yourself next to the chest you want to steal from and when you gather a bit of loot go to you own chest and deposit the loot. Repeat this with the 3 chests and you should get it. If having difficulties just get some friends to help you.


Roleplay
Play a round with "Ronny", the pirate character.


You need "Ronny" for this achievement. You can get it by leveling up and opening boxes or you can buy it in the steam market. Equip it and play a round of "Loot Grab".

Mind Control

Futurama Theorem
Swap minds 100 in total.


You'll get this one eventualy while playing. To get it quicker you can also create a LAN game where you control 2 characters and farm it.


Mind Killer
Kill 3 other characters in a single round.


The easiest way is to swap minds and not moving until you kill the other character. You can either get it by playing against AI or by getting some friends to help you.

Rocket Run

Watch Out
Detonate 30 rockets.


You'll get this one eventualy while playing.


Kabloom
Kill 3 players with the rocket explosion while its targetting you.


One of the hardest achievements so far (remember that the 3 players need to die with the same explosion). There are several ways to get it:

1. Try to get it by playing online, which I would say it's the worst kind of suicide someone could ever take.

2.Get 3 friends and tell them to kill themselves by making the rocket explode while it's targeting you.

3. (And best option) Get a friend, create a game where you both control a couple of characters (I recommend using WASD and the ARROW KEYS). When in-game there are 2 possibilites aswell:

a) The map has teleporters: get next to the teleporter. When the rocket arrives, make sure that everyone is inside the explosion area and jump into the teleporter with the character that is being followed by the rocket.

b) The map has no teleporters: you can either try to reach the rocket with the 3 players at the same time or get all together on a platform and jump off with the character that is being chased when the rocket arrives.

Shifty Ground

Ground Shift
Have the ground shift to death tiles 70 times.


You'll get this one eventualy while playing.


Whew
Jump and land on a safe patch of ground at the very last second.


Wait untill the safe areas are visible. Get next to one of them, and when the floor below you starts blinking heavily jump and land on the safe ground.

Speed Run

Almost There
Run 30.000 steps.


You'll get this one eventualy while playing.


Easier Said Than Done
Reach the finish line.


You should be able to get this once you know the maps a little.

Spike Ball

Bouncy Ball
Bounce the ball 500 times against the walls.


You'll get this one eventualy while playing. To get it quicker you can also create a LAN game where you control 2 characters and farm it, but dodging can get really hard when you are in charge of 2 characters.


Daredevil
Jump over the ball.


Just wait until the ball is low enough to jump over it. Shouldn't be a problem.

Static Bounce

Energy Supplier
Be the responsible for the creation of 100 orbs in total.


You'll get this one eventualy while playing. To get it quicker you can also create a LAN game where you control 2 characters and farm it.


Determined
Create 7 static orbs in one round.


You shouldn't have a hard time while attempting to get this. Jus try to hit everyone as much as you can, always being careful with the jump after hitting someone. If you can't get it by yourself you can also get 3 friends and hit them in specific spots so the screen doesn't get full and you can still hit the players until you get the achievement.

Stomp

DISCLAIMER: This achievements have been removed.

NOTE: You can only play this gamemode with bots, not online. Also, the bots are pretty strong here, so these achievements can by specially tyring and difficult to get since you can't get friends to help you.

WARNING: Apparently the achievements related to "Stomp" have been removed.

Career in plumbing
Stomp 100 players.


You can get this really fast by going into the level editor and creating a special level. An effective layout is placing the 3 AI spawners next to each other in a row, placing your spawner some tiles above the middle AI one and surrounding them with blocks (Kind of a inverted "T" shape). Then hit the "Test" button and you should stomp them all at the same time. Repeat and you will get the achievement in no time.


Floor is lava
Stomp 2 players without touching the ground.


Use the LAN method, but this time you will need to control a third character, which makes it more difficult. Once you reach stomp with everyone, make sure to align the copies together and jump over their heads without touching the floor with your main character.


Passive
Win a round without stomping anybody.


Use the LAN method. Since I don't know if it needs to be a 4 "player" game, get 4 characters this time, and when you reach stomp let the 3 copies suicide by not moving. That should give you the achievement.

Sugar Rush

Sweet Tooth
Chomp down 50 candies.


You'll get this one eventualy while playing.


Never mind sharing
In a 4 player match, be the only one to eat a candy.


I believe you can't get this achievement by playing against bots. Get 3 friends and tell then not to eat (although the have to stay alive) or get 1 friend, join an online match and block the path of the other players.


Appetite
Eat a candy right when it spawns.


On little maps, stand right into the spawner and eventually you'll be in the one that spawns the candy.

Super Hot

Bullet influencer
Influence the speed of 100 bullets in total.


You'll get this one eventualy while playing.


Super Hot
Survive until there are over 150 bullets on the screen in a round.


Try to move the less you can and avoid the directions the bullets next to you are following. Be specially careful when jumping, since that will give the bullets a lot of speed. You can also use the level editor to make a bigger level to get more chances of lasting until the 150 are spawned.

Vertigo

Mountain Goat
Climb 300 platforms.


You'll get this one eventualy while playing or you can also get it using the level editor.


Escalator
Climb 50 rows in a single round.


Use the level editor method (you won't die by getting smashed by the rows).

Miscellaneous

So, that happened
Get your ass handed to you by the AI bots.


You have to play a match against AI and lose it.


Stairway
Finish the match with the towers forming a stairway.


Get 3 friends and create a match. Play one round and check the positions (I believe they are the same as the lobby, but I'm not sure). Once you know where is everyone, the player at the right has to win the game, the player at the left has to get the less points, the middle-left has to get some points and the middle-right has to get more that the middle-left but less than the right player (Yes, I know the explanation it's a bit confusing, just, when you know where is everyone, try to form a stairway by winning or losing rounds).


Last Call
Win during sudden death.


You have to survive during most of the round in certain gamemodes (Eg. Static Bounce, Mind Control, etc). When you enter sudden death mode, win the round.


Mutator Wheel
Pick 2 mutators in the same match.


This depends on your luck. However, you can increase the chance of choosing the mutator twice by playing a longer game or by being the only one who has unlocked mutators.


Show Off
Win an online match where your score is greater than the sum of all the other players.


Get 3 friends, play an online match and tell them to let you win every round.


That Covers It
Play a round of each gamemode.


I believe you only have to play the original gamemodes. However just make sure to play pretty much every gamemode and you should get it. Remember that stomp also counts for this achievement, and you have to paly it against AI.


Start Already!
Toggle "Ready/Not Ready" for a total of 1000 times in multiple online lobbies.


When in an online lobby, press the button that says "Ready" or "Not Ready" 1000 times. I don't know if you can get it by creating a game yourself, even if there is noone in the lobby. However, you can always trigger the button a few times when you're waiting for someone in an online lobby (but remember not to annoy the other players if they want to play). You'll eventually get it.


The Modifier
Publish a mod in the Steam Workshop.


For this one you need to create and publish a mod in the Steam Workshop. I think the easiest way to get this is creating a map using the level creator in-game. Just make sure to follow the steps and upload it to the Workshop.


Old School
Set up a LAN game with 3 other friends.


Although it needs confirmation, it seems you can use a tool called "Evolve[www.evolvehq.com]" which creates a LAN between the players in the group. You might need to add the people you're playing with in steam aswell to get the achievement.
