I don't know why, but I'm addicted to this simple tower defense game.
My personal preferred style of play is 'Brilliant run'. I'll keep restarting missions until I finish it brilliant from the first time. This typically means that you'll have a rough start because you need to play it perfectly but at the end your towers will crush the heroes.
I have learned this way of play from someone on YouTube who posted his brilliant runs, back when the game was only on the Armor Games website.
Sadly Irisoft never released there Cursed Treasure 3. Yet I feel that they simply could have used the shell of Cursed Treasure 2 and just worked on 20 new levels and a small story. Same Skill Tree would have been perfect.
BTW, with a little luck and willingness to leave some buildings alone on 22 and 23, I have found a way to win them without using any skulls. night made and 24 are not worth that effort for sure.
The key is to not mass towers or even cut all forests down if going for skull-less runs, but to upgrade a small number of elite towers next to the barricades that are meant to reach rank 5.
Admittedly, you need some good luck with scroll and resource drops, but it can be done.
