UCP / ACUPAT with OD

I noticed according to the files for this mod, these are army rangers. I would love to commission you do a version with the netted tan helmets in similar vein to this:

The UI is one I've made but I'm afraid it's not up on the workshop.

You're right, but I think it's strange having a UCP t-shirt, generally these would be sand coloured. I've tried making the shirt look like a BDU (added the picture) but I've never got it right. Either way it's a conflict and comes down to personal preference. As I'm always happy for people to mod my stuff however they like.

I'd like to, but unfortunately the custom model I use for the hands uses the same sleeve texture for all classes. I could make it correct for the lighter classes by changing it, but then you would have tan sleeves for the heavy. It's just a limitation of the model.

Can you texture the sleeves on the light armor/no armor guys with the ACUPAT camo and put the american flag on the sides?

Could be, I’ve seen that thing done with Left 4 Dead mods, so it might be possible in Ins. Although I wouldn't know where to begin with that haha. Thanks for the support man I’m glad you like them.

Is it possible to add a binary system, like randomized pouch camos?

Yeah I like that idea too, but haven't figured out how to make it look good yet. The molle pouches and equipment on the vests gets shared between all classes and so if I make the pouches UCP the OD vest end up using them too. I can mix some stuff, the IFAK is UCP but the mag pouches are OD. I'll keep working on it though - maybe a patch in the future will change this.

Is there a way to make the heavys keep their ucp vest but allow the light guys to wear the OD vests? It makes it interesting because the heavys can be regular infantry but the light guys can be rangers.
