How much time I've lost because I didn't pay enough attention! ;)
I'll let you know of the result.
All of the original texture files and fbx models, including the lod, are available on this page just above the comments there. There's a link to the source files ^^.
If you plan to make this into a water structure, you may wish to import from a Steam template, either a tower or pump. For some reason the game has trouble adding the pipe base to the .crp file on the first import of a vanilla template.
You may also need to redo the vertex colours to get the rotation to work correctly on a template other than the wind turbine.
Good luck!
Unfortunately, wind pumps don't generate electricity, they pump water without it. ;)
I tried to edit it (following this tutorial: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=471221886 ) to set properties similar to another wind pump that works correctly but doesn't have such a great 3D model (Wind Pump by Franks - https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=795481356 ) but I failed miserably... :(
Can you change it, please? Or, at least, provide me with the fdx model? I'd give the credits, of course!
I'm currently using this asset along with vanilla water tower while I can't solve the problem...
If you want to go for it, I'd load the pump into the asset editor then grab the small water tower and use it as a sub building - or some other workshop asset that functions similarly. I think since both don't require a road connection you'd wind up with that combo but with a slightly larger circular footprint. Haven't tested it though.
I was also trying to think of a small sewage disposal asset that would work with it - I could only come up with a cesspool. I thought septic tank - but they get drained every now and again - and adding that functionality is beyond my capabilities.
