How to fix GTA 5 crashing while running rivatuner

This is for people who have GTA 5 crashing on their PCs and rivatuner opened up at the same time.

Step 1

Open up rivatuner and MSI Afterburner

Step 2

Go into the MSI Afterburner settings

Step 3

When in the Afterburner settings, go to the monitoring section

Step 4

When in the monitoring section in MSI Afterburner, Scroll down until you see framerate.

Step 5

To prevent the framerate being shown, disable the framerate counter by clicking on the checkmark.

Step 6

Open rivatuner.

Step 7

When you have rivatuner open, disable the application detection option all together.
