Description
All over the province of Skyrim you may find notes containing a riddle and a black and white canvas painting leading you to kind of a treasure. These notes, sixteen in total, can be found in the cities and villages, in places where most people of that city or village find pleasure or work, or should be able to!

Some of these notes may be hard to find, others are just in plain sight. Solve the riddle or try to recognize the whereabouts on the painting and you may find a chest within a certain radius from a point in the painting.

What will you find in these chests? Overpowered and overvalued armor, weapons and jewelry! Complete Ebony, Daedric, Dragonplate and Dragonscale armor sets (cuirass, gauntlets, boots, helmet and shield), complete Ebony and Daedric weaponsets (1 bow, 2 swords, 2 maces, 2 war axes, 2 daggers, 1 greatsword, 1 warhammer, 1 battleaxe), 21 necklaces and 21 rings that adjust attributes (health, magicka and stamina) and magic, combat and stealth skills. All armor and weapons are enchanted with various skill advancements.

But, before you can use any of this you will have to find the notes, solve the riddles or recognize the paintings and then find the chests. No red cross to indicate an exact location and no map markers! You only know it's there, somewhere! Some of the notes and chests are in plain sight (maybe because of that easily overlooked) and some are pretty hard to find. If you are lucky you may find the riddle book that contains all the riddles from the notes. Also, there are two cheat books containing the explanations of all riddles, but these are hidden.

Armor, weapons and jewelry found in the chest are called "Draconian". However not the notes and chests.

New in Rev. 2: A new note can be found in one of the Halls of the Dead in Falkreath, Markarth, Riften, Solitude, Whiterun or Windhelm. This note contains a riddle that may lead you to a large treasure (lots of gold). However, not in a chest, but in a .... Well, find out for yourself!

Recommended plugins: Unread Books Glow and Unlimited Amulets and Rings.

Enjoy your hunt and beware of dragons, frostbite spiders, skeevers and the like! Don't ask for hints! I won't give any!! Maybe a little challenge: be the first to post the location of the two cheat books. However, no rewards other than being the first to find those books.

Required: Only vanilla Skyrim (no updates, no Dawnguard, no Hearthfire).

BTW: If this plugin is a favorite of yours, then also consider rating it!

When using the mod "Unread Books Glow" you have even a better chance of finding those notes.

Where do people enjoy themselves in a town or village? The only obvious place: an inn! Where do people work in a town or village? A mine etc. Look at the floor, on a barrel, behind a crate, behind a counter, on a shelf, etc. It's just a small note with a riddle and a painting. If you read between the lines, I have already said more than enough.

Almost forgot: 1 riddle/painting per town/village!

In all the towns and villages, 16 in total. Not only in the big cities!

is it one clue/hint in every big city?

In some Legends Draconian is is thought as a half dragon half Man species in a result of a wizards dark magic though we dont know what it could be but draconian could be possible in some aspects of nature so netherless he could still be correct

I consider it CONSTRUCTIVE criticism! Thanks! I'm pleased that you like the mod, although I think the items are extremely overpowered, but the puzzling should be fun! Have a look at my other mods (a total of 50 by now). Maybe there's something else you like.

Completely understandable! I really, truly was not trying to criticize. Honestly, I wouldn't have even noticed things with this mod or the usage of language if I wasn't so interested in the mod itself. I was so interested in the mod that I couldn't look away; I was just pointing out a minor thing that really has nothing to do with anything, lol. Great work--keep up the good work!

No problem! I'm not native English and learn every day. But I'll leave it as is, because there's a lot of work to change all names of weapons, armor and jewelry.
