Alchemy Enhanced XP 1.01 - WG

Description
Slightly increases the rate of Alchemy XP gain (20% higher) to balance Alchemy XP gain with other skills such as Smithing.

The difference is subtle, but the 20% bonus adds up. It does not break the game or make things too easy. On the contrary, Alchemy XP gain will feel similar to Smithing XP, and it makes Alchemy a lot more fun.

Version: 1.0

Other WG Mods:

Item Rewards For Bounties: Adds a random leveled item as a reward upon quest completion, and changes bounty rewards to 250 gold for Bandits/Forsworn, 500 gold for Giants and 750 gold for dragons.

Undying Companions: Makes all companions essential, meaning they cannot die by friendly or hostile damage. Exceptions: Erandur, Cicero and Eola.

Breezehome Enchanting Table - Adds an enchanting table to Breezehome right next to the Alchemy Lab. Will only show up once Alchemy Lab decoration is purchased from Proventus in Dragonsreach. Mood lighting included.

Improved Imperial Racial Abilities - Changes Voice of the Emperor ability to a +10 Speech bonus for people like me who never use Voice of the Emperor when they roll Imperial characters.

GIANT Animals - Makes all animals, plus trolls, 3x bigger than normal. Just subscribe and walk around Skyrim - it's GREAT for kicks.

Visible Slaughterfish - Makes only slaughterfish 3x bigger so you can see them more easily.

Evil Slaughterfish - Makes slaughterfish much more dangerous: 3x damage, 2.5x speed, 3.1x attack chance and 2x health.

Skyscraper Giants - Makes giants 3x bigger.

Can you maybe make a tiny one for enchanting? But maybe be able to choose xp gain or just automatic 100? Because Enchanting takes FOREVER to increase, and console commands make it s temporary, fake xp gain.

As is likely obvious by now, I have stopped supporting & updating my mods, as well as not creating new mods. I may return to modding in the future, but I did not pace myself well, and burned out some time ago. I may enter modding again when real life and renewed interest allows, and if so, I will pace myself better to maintain a long term relationship with the modding community. It occurred to me this past week that I had never communicated this to fans or subscribers, and I sincerely apologize for my lack of communication.

Thank you very much for your feedback, and for using this mod and others I have created. It is extremely encouraging to see that even in my absence, the mods I labored to create are still being enjoyed and used in Skyrim games today.

Until next time,
~Warrior G0el

Beuatiful. You fixed the only thing that stopped me from making my own potions without making me feel like a cheat. Thumbs up and favorited.

snaux makes a VERY good point. If I owned this mod, I'd try to impliment it. ps: perhaps making a "failed" potion should give you 1/3 the experience in alchemy that making a known one, and making a potion that worked but used ingredients with unknown effects should grant 4/3 the experience of a known potion.

Two Thumbs up!

What would be really cool, though, is if you could make this mod increase the Alchemy XP gain, but also greatly LOWER the ***overall*** XP gain from levelling it. Personally I'd like to see 0-100 alch only give me maybe 5 char levels, tops.

Levelling alchemy too fast at an early level is VERY dangerous (even without this mod): you make a few potions and suddenly you are fighting level 30 mobs with level 5 skills and gear! If you use this mod, I'd hold off making stuff until you are level 20 at least.

Also, even without this mod, if you know what to do you can gain 1:1 levels per potion (or better) at just about any level any level, and can hit level 75 without making a single potion, for that matter.

Also, for those who are going to ask:

It's still way faster to train with Arcadia in Whiterun and pickpocket your gold back each time. That gets you level 75 Alch (no mats wasted), 100 Pickpocket, and +30 sneak in like 15 minutes. You need 1000g (which you get back) and it costs you zero mats.

After 75: Giants Toe + River Betty + Wheat. The potion is useless but VERY expensive, which what XP is based on. If you have a full set of alchemy gear and proper buffs it levels you super fast (without mods) and sells for upwards of 20k at max level... a full level of alchemy or more per potion. Sell those to vendors and you also gain +2 Speech per sale, easy.

Thank you! I hated how slow it was to skill up Alchemy.
