No tracers

Description
Disables the first person tracer rounds introduced in beta build 224 for marine weapons. You can still see tracers fired by other players since this is useful as alien.

Update: This functionality is now included in Better NS2.

Note: NS2 does not yet properly support client code mods due to the consistency checking. This mod must be installed on the server which will activate it on all connected clients. If you just want to try it out you can start a local server after activating it from the mods menu.

Yeah, i thought about suggesting you to make some king of options, but i thought it would be complicated. Anyway, if you are going to make options, you should do some king of on/off switches for visual effects (blur, tracers, flashlight)

I would probably have to look into adding options to BNS2 first. Some players may like to keep the tracers on but it's a good idea.

How about adding this in Better NS2?

The screenshot is from a very old NS2 build. It just happened not to have any tracers so I used it, the default mod icon is so boring! ;)

My rifle never looks like that - have you modded that too?

Nice! I have them disabled in CS:GO as well.

after all, what are the tracers good for except showing others your position?

Murphys Law says: Tracers work both ways. :)

Nice Mod

Cool. Beans.

For the record this is more me just making a first simple NS2 mod than the tracers being bad. :)
