The Missouri–Kansas–Texas Railway is a former Class I railroad company in the United States. Established in 1865 under the name Union Pacific Railway, Southern Branch, it came to serve an extensive rail network in Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, and Missouri. In 1988, it merged with the Missouri Pacific Railroad; today, it is part of Union Pacific Railroad.

The Katy Flyer ran between St Louis and Southwest Texas originally a train offering sleeper and dining car service by the late 1950s service had declined and it was just coaches offered on the route. This train is modeled after several photos I have seen of the Katy Flyer in the late 1950s. I really liked the overwhelming head end baggage cars so I wanted to make this.

Comes with automatic engine reverse feature: spawns the engine and head end cars in front of the direction the train goes. comes with custom sound effects for movement and horn.

Train functions as a regular passenger train but due to its length some additional consideration might be needed when setting up passenger stations for it. Consult the "How to use very long passenger trains, building station complex" by REV0
