Description
Relics of Anbennar has now been updated for The Final Empire

The relic button has now been removed. The interface is now only accessible via the Shift+R hotkey

This submod adds dozens of unique artifacts mentioned in Anbennar's setting as their own unique, interactable items with their own GUI!

Features
A Custom Relic GUI
Relics of Anbennar has its own custom interface to display the Relics you’ve collected! Once collected, each Relic is visually represented with its own artwork faithful to how they are described in Anbennar’s lore. The menu is accessible through a new button next to the Minimap or by pressing the Shift + R buttons.

30 New Lore-Friendly Relics
Each of the 30 new relics added in RoA has its own passive bonus as well as an active effect which can be used by spending Splendor. Some Relics can only be activated a limited number of times. The majority of Relics are owned by another country in 1444, and can be stolen by occupying their capital or diplomatically annexing them.

A New Category of Diplomatic Action
Certain Relics allow you to access new diplomatic actions within their own special category (Relic Actions), allowing you to do anything from turn allies into Historical Friends or completely disable their Artificer units.

New Advisor Types, Mercenary Groups, and Ruler Traits
Relic bonuses are often complex and provide bonuses not seen elsewhere. Sacrifice advisors to gain specific ruler traits, collect the souls of vanquished units to respawn them on your side, or summon clones of Castan as a general.

F.A.Q
How do I get new Relics?
Hover over the tooltip of each missing Relic to see its requirements for acquisition. If the Relic already has an owner, either occupy their capital or annex them diplomatically.

Is this compatible with other Anbennar submods?
All submods are compatible unless they directly edit certain parts of the UI
Compatibility with Dwarven Knowledge specifically requires a compatibility patch found here:

Is this savegame compatible?
Relics that belong to a country in 1444 won't spawn, but those that can be acquired afterwards will still work (like Malliath's Breath and Starshear)

Not necessarily, just working on another mod at the moment. Will get Relics itself updated, and then I could potentially take a look at the patch.

that list of events should entirely prevent the need for modifying the base anbennar files i believe, edited event 8 and added others based on your changes to files, i'm too lazy to write localization though :) they all fire only once and have specific triggers so shouldn't cause any issues

Also planerRelicsAakhet has a curlyboi with no friend for event 10 (first if statement doesn't have a closing bracket)

a suggestion might be to make use of certain flags or triggers to fire events rather than modifying anbennars files.

for example rather than being triggered only have fire only once events with a low MTTH that check for the requirements, so for the keys of nath you could have it a 1 day MTTH that fires only once but only if the country has the Patricians estate, i'm unsure of the requirements for a lot of them but most of them should be possible to do in this way i believe

Oh good catch, I'll add that as well. Fix might take a few days, need to remove some WIP relics first

no worries, there is also the fact that annexing a vassal who has a relic seems to make the relic vanish into the ether. Might also be an idea to check any modified files against the current steam version, the anbennar devs have a habit of rewriting entire files spontaneously

Due to modifying the Corinite events the ravelians never spawn while running this mod, the deluge is supposed to fire the ravelian spawn 5-6 years later but there's no event fire in your modified file
