The Sanity Mod for Project Zomboid brings mental health into the equation, adding layers of complexity to your survival experience. Key Features of the Sanity Mod (B41 and B42)

  • Monitor Core Stats: Keep your Hunger, Thirst, and Fatigue in check to prevent negative effects on your sanity.

    1. Pain, Panic, and Fear are key contributors to insanity—manage them as best as you can.
    2. Stay clean to avoid the sanity-depleting effects of dirt and filth.

Mod is actually working fine for me in B42.11 but sometimes it can be a bit unbalanced and annoying.

For example, when your character is doing an insanity-induced action, the animation keeps playing and never stops, which doesn't allow you to equip/unequip items. The animation can be stopped if you right-click-> shove, but it can be annoying to have to do so.

The mod is an excellent idea but needs polishing, I'd love if we could have a mod that only added the auditory and visual hallucinations without your character doing random stuff.

This looks like the most badass mod ive seen for PZ in a while. I'll install it when I see the endless errors are fixed. That being said.... I fucking beg you; You should add a multiplayer feature where if someone kills another person/multiple people, that person goes insane. It'd help servers have more robbing rather than just KOS pvp.

Idea: If the Immersive suicide mod is enabled when your charecter has lost all their sanity for a long time a crying sound will play and a couple minutes later if your charecter has a gun with ammo or bleach they will end themselves for a more realistic experience of the potential effects of when one's mental state is completely ruined.

Just an idea though :)

Hello, I'm just here to report somthing that could maybe help to upgrade the mode.
I have 2 fractured foot (bug, I fall from the 3rd floor because the ground didn't load up after the new update, nice) and since then, because of the pain even with pain killer, my sanity is at the lowest and because of that I mutilate myself every second... so not a bug or anything like that, but ... it's hard to play like that (even sleeping is...impossible...) so... could you add a med or anything to prevent this king of soft locks ?
Amazing mod by the way, it's heartbreaking to play without it.

The concept is really cool, but there are problems, at least with the translation into Russian, where there are question marks instead of letters. Please fix this if possible.
