Hello, and welcome to my achievement walkthrough for A Walk in the Park! I made this as a way for people who want to 100% the DLC to get through it as easily and painless as possible.

  • Estimated difficulty: 3/10.

  • Estimated 100% time: ~3 hours.

  • Offline/online achievements: 10 offline / 0 online.

  • Number of playthroughs: 1 minimum.

  • Glitched achievements: None that I'm aware of.

    Before we get into the guide there's two achievements I want to go over real quick so you can keep the info in the back of your mind. Carbon Cat vs Iron Maus You will need to have completed the It Lives! It Sniffs! It Conquers! achievement in order to earn this. Rusty Rat Rusty Rat is a time sensitive achievement, and if you are too slow you will be locked out of it for the current playthrough. I suggest going to the Rusty Rat section of the guide and reading up on it just so you know what to do and where.
A Walk in the Park - part I
  • Audio Log 1/21 Welcome to CREO World! (CREO World Audioguide): Directly to the right you should see an orange container that reads "Operations". The log is to the right on a counter.


    No More Marching
    After leaving Ops (the orange container), head right and go passed the Iron Maus statue until you can climb a pile of rubble to the Project Resolve Center. This is the Popcorn Parade spawn point, however they do march around the whole plaza so you can catch them elsewhere. You'll know it's them by the 4 mascots marching in line with music. Kill all 4 for the achievement. Note that you should also cut off all of their heads for their schematics, as we will need those for the Dress Up achievement.

  • Audio Log 2/21 Lumberjack Show (CREO World Audioguide): From Ops once again, head straight this time. Follow the linear path until you see an area called The Lumberjack Show. Head inside, and once again follow the linear path through. Once you exit to the back outside area, make a right. You should see a level 10 override, and an exo-lift. The log is to the left of these.


  • Audio Log 3/21 CREOnet Terminal - Recording 24E3782/1: Activate the override and take the lift up. Drop into the arena and interact with the power core to gain access to the collapsed path ahead of you. Follow it through to the Firestarter area and hook a left past the small rocket. The log is on the dead body on the bridge overlooking the intro to CREO World.


  • Audio Log 4/21 Recovered Voicemail (Family Vacation): From the last log, go right up the staircase and go into The Skybound Adventure. The log is right on the counter as you enter.


  • Audio Log 5/21 CREO Skybound Adventure (CREO World Audioguide): From the last log, exit back outside and go left, you'll see a board that reads "Team Up". The log is on the floor to the left.


  • Audio Log 6/21 Personal Log, employee #75-0935 (Getting Technical): Enter the building on your left and drop down into the Project Resolve Center. Don't take the staircase up, take the small set going down. Head forward and you'll see a small patch of grass. The log is at the far end of the grass.


  • Audio Log 7/21 Project Resolve Center (CREO World Audioguide): Head back the way you came and take the stairs up this time to enter the Project Resolve Center. Take the staircase up to find yourself level with the giant globe. Go towards it and exit out of the second bridge to find the log right in front of you.


    Is This Real Life?
    Head up the broken scaffolding next to the globe and enter the room at the top. Begin the reboot process and stave off 3 waves of enemies. Once it finishes, the achievement will unlock.

  • Audio Log 8/21 Malfunction Report - Ticket #SURB-7208 (Carbon Cat Logs): After the reboot, enter the room that has a red glow to it and take the exo-lift down to Park Maintenance. The following path leads into a repair room of sorts and the log is right in front of you.


  • Audio Log 9/21 Emergency Call (S&R Unit Records): After getting access to the Rusty Spring Tower, (head back to The Skybound Adventure and insert the core, then head back the The Lumberjack Show) head down the staircase to the bottom of the tower. The log will be right in front of you.


  • Audio Log 10/21 Personal Log, employee #73-4464 (Getting Technical): Now enter the Park Maintenance tunnel directly ahead of you. Follow it all the way through until you come to the only fork in the tunnel. Take the right path and you'll see the log to your left in a blue lit room.


    Squad Chief Helvig
    Head back to the Rusty Spring Tower and go all the way to the top this time. The Chief will be ahead on the only path you can follow.

  • Audio Log 11/21 Classified Briefing (S&R Unit Records): Immediately after defeating the Chief, go into the crashed helicopter to find this log.


  • Audio Log 12/21 Recovered Personal Voicemail (S&R Unit Records): Head back to Ops to find this log in the corner directly next to the Med-bay.


  • Audio Log 13/21 Recovered Voicemail (Family Vacation): After gaining access to the Firestarter rollercoaster, head back to it and up the staircase. Take the right set (not the side you can enter the rollercoaster from) to find this at the top.


  • Audio Log 14/21 Upcoming Inspection (Getting Technical): After riding the Firestarter down, head into the only door you can and follow the path to the room with rubble in the middle. The log is just beyond it.
A Walk in the Park - part II
  • Audio Log 15/21 Message to S&R Control Station (S&R Unit Records): Follow the path forward until you come to a hole in the wall. Exit outside and make an immediate left up a ramp to find some grass and the audio log next to a Rusty Springs sign.


    3-2-1
    From the last log, face away from the Rusty Springs sign and drop down the hole in front of you. Move forward until the path splits in two directions. Take the left path to find the Rusty Springs elevator. Enter the middle of it and interact with the switch to unlock the achievement.

  • Audio Log 16/21 CREO Questionnaire Terminal - Recording #48B2782 (Archive Data - Warren's Past): Head back to where the path split and take the right path up the staircase. At the top of the first set will be a broken drone you can interact with for the log.


  • Audio Log 17/21 Recovered Private Voicemail (Archive Data - Warren's Past): Follow the story path through the train station until you reach the top floor with multiple mascot robots hanging. Right next to the tree in front of you is another broken drone you can interact with for the log.

  • Audio Log 18/21 Automated Status Report 1/2 (Carbon Cat Logs): Head across the bridge directly in front of the last log. once on the other side make an immediate left. The log is at the end next to a dead Bradley the Bean.


  • PLEASE READ THIS NEXT SECTION CAREFULLY!
    Now, we're going to do a little set up for the next section.
    Continue onward, passed where you see Rusty Rat being chased by Carbon Cat. You will come out of a breakable door to a largely destroyed outside area. Follow the path down a ramp and to your left will be an exo-lift you can take back up to Ops. I suggest doing so to refill your health, items, and make a back up save.

  • Audio Log 19/21 Personal Log, employee #73-4464 (Getting Technical): Head back down the exo-lift we came up and continue until you see a mutated Bradley the Bean and a blue rollercoaster. To his left is the log near a dead body.


  • If you die or aren't fast enough in the next section Rusty Rat will die and you will need to try again in another playthrough. Head under the rollercoaster tracks and you will see a level 10 override terminal. Activate it and get ready to either kill everything or run.

  • Audio Log 20/21 Automated Status Report 2/2 (Carbon Cat Logs): After you see Rusty Rat strapped to a rocket, head down the hole to your left to find a room with a rocket. Head right and follow the path around the rocket and the log will be on the floor just before the next doorway.


    Rusty Rat
    Enter the door next to the audio log and keep following the path. Take the exo-lift up to find Rusty Rat in the next room. Free him and the achievement will unlock.

  • After freeing Rusty Rat, head back down and take the only other door at the first rocket that we haven't gone through yet. You'll come to an outside area with a drone and a mutated Bradley Bean. Just a little ways ahead is Carbon Cat's arena.

    MAKE SURE YOU EQUIP THE IRON MAUS ARMOR BEFORE DROPPING INTO THE ARENA.

    Carbon Cat vs Iron Maus
    Before entering the arena, make sure you equip the Iron Maus armor. If you don't have it, see the individual section for this achievement below on how to acquire it.
    Once you enter the arena, kill Carbon Cats 2 forms and both achievements will unlock.

    I tested this with putting the armor on for the killing blow and the achievement didn't unlock.
    I didn't test going in with the armor, switching off, and then switching back for the kill.

    Good Listener
    Audio Log 21/21 Recovered Private Voicemail (Archive Data - Warren's Past): After killing Carbon Cat there will be a hole in the arena you can drop down. Head all the way to the bottom and up a ramp to a red lit room. The audio log will be a little beyond. Impossible to miss as it's on your path out.
Squad Chief Helvig
Defeated S&R Chief Helvig

Helvig is the first mandatory boss of the DLC. Kill him and the achievement will unlock.
Carbon Cat
Defeated Carbon Cat.

Carbon Cat is the second and final boss of the DLC. Defeat both of his forms to earn the achievement.
Carbon Cat vs Iron Maus
Defeated Carbon Cat as Iron Maus.

To unlock the Iron Maus armor, you will need to defeat the 5 smelter bots in the game and collect their shining coins. Their locations are as follows:

Abandoned Production - When you come to an area with small puddles of toxic waste on the floor, head forward through a broken pipe and beyond some shrubbery. The smelter bot will be just beyond.

Central Production B - Two of them will be side by side in a large room a little after your first encounter with Irina. If you give her the Negotiator, she will kill one for you.

Resolve Biolabs - Once you take the elevator to the outside portion of this level, head down the stairs until you see a container. Hook a left to see a gun and a ledge you can drop off. To your right will be the bot in a pool of toxic waste.

Central Production B - The final one is available during your second visit here. As soon as you get back, you will come to a bridge that leads to the Circulation Tower. The bot is behind the door.

Once you have all 5 coins, head over to where the Vending Machine Cult is and interact with the vending machine. A wall to your right will open containing the armor.

Once you're ready to fight Carbon Cat, equip the armor BEFORE starting the fight and keep it on until he is dead.
Dress Up
Collected and crafted all 4 mascot heads.

You must perfrom a finishing move on all 4 mascots, then craft their head piece at the gear station. The four mascots are:

  • Donnie Donuts
  • Bradley the Bean
  • Ironbar Ivan
  • Samuel J. Soda
New Gear
Crafted all gear sets found in CREO World.

You will need to craft the full set (head, body, both arms, both legs) of all 3 CREO world armor sets.

  • Ogre - can be farmed off the giant red robots.
  • Eagle - can be farmed off the Search & Rescue team members.
  • Mantis - can be farmed off the dudes in blue around the park (a good spot is Lumberjack Show)
No More Marching
Killed all the mascots of the Popcorn Parade.

Rusty Rat
Saved Rusty Rat.

I suggest making a backup save just before the override I'm going to mention.
This achievement isn't hard, it can just be a pain if you fail it.

At a certain point in the DLC you will come to an outside area with a mutated Bradley Bean and a blue rollercoaster. A little bit forward is a level 10 override. Activate it and get prepared because from here on in you're on a timer + you cannot die. If you fail, you will have to retry this achievement in a new playthrough. see Carbon Cat tie Rusty Rat to a rocket. Head down the hole to your left and take a right around the rocket. Go through the door and take the exo-lift to the room with Rusty Rat. Interact with him to free him.
3-2-1
Unlocked the Rusty Spring Tower.

After encountering your first Search & Rescue team member (not Helvic) you will be greeted with a path that goes two ways. The left has a sign on the wall, while the right is a staircase with a drone audio log halfway up. Take the left path to find the tower. Enter the room in the middle and interact with it to unlock the achievement.
Is This Real Life?
Survived rebooting the network in the Project Resolve Center.

Shortly into the DLC you will enter the Project Resolve Center and initiate a lockdown at the top level. Survive all 3 waves of enemies to unlock the achievement.

Es un salto muy difícil y no conseguí hacerlo, pero pude ver qué era el objeto.

The exo lift dont work for me for Audio Log 8 for some reason

At the beginning of the DLC there is a broken ladder on which something is lying. There is an elevator on the side, during the passage I managed to turn it on, but there is a closed door at the top. How to get there?

Great guide,it helped me alot, but the audiolog 4 and 5 are inverted. The ""Recovered Voicemail (Family Vacation)" is found behind the teamwork sign, the " CREO Skybound Adventure (CREO World Audioguide)" is found inside Ksybound adventures.
