so if you know what lcpdfr is you prob know what it is but if not this mod can make you live the life as a cop in the game. so this will show you how to do it in steps.
downgrade
if you want to downgrade to patch 7 check out this guide:

the reason why you need to downgrade is because the todays/latest version of complete edition lcpdfr legacy edition [1.2.0.43] is broken as the keybinds are incorrect traffic stops are not working a feature to pull over cars does NOT work [as it only works on the tutorial] and the taser is broken.
requirements
here are some requirements you need:
1.the main installation
now that you downgrade to patch 7 there is a main file for the latest version so don't download that because is only for 1.2.0.43 go scroll down to the old versions and click and download the third one for the manual install.

so now that you downloaded the mod double click the lcpdfr folder and drag or copy all the files inside the folder then go to the GTAIV folder with the following:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Grand Theft Auto IV\GTAIV

paste the files in the GTAIV folder and you're done.
launch GTAIV/4 and press ALT+P to start and now you are ready to become a cop.
recommended mods for lcpdfr [optional]
if you want lcpdfr mods to make you're experience a bit better here are the good ones:
this is optional if you want to keep the lcpdfr mod or your game default or vanilla. then this may not be the best one for you.

those mods are probably removed because of Take Two.
