[B42/B41] Lexus LS400 Redux

Beschreibung
This mod adds the Lexus LS400 as a standalone vehicle. It includes full animations, interior, engine bay, trunk, and extra customization parts. If you use Motorious Zone, this LS400 will automatically spawn in place of the one included in the pack, and it also supports spawn zones from Vehicle Spawn Zones Expanded.

The LS400 marked Toyota's entry into the luxury car market in 1989. The result of over $1 billion in funding and several years of development, the LS400 was a great success for Toyota, proving their new Lexus brand as a strong competitor right out of the gate. It was a luxury sedan without compromise despite its lower cost compared to its competitors, and with the new 1UZ-FE V8 under the hood, it provided plenty of power as well. Also included in the mod is the Toyota Celsior, the JDM model that was sold under the Toyota badge before Lexus arrived in its home country.

Features of the LS400 include:
  • Full animation support, with interior, engine bay, and trunk
  • Option for real names, lore friendly names are default
  • Option to make bodywork parts (doors, hood, trunk) unique to the LS400/Celsior, vanilla parts are default
  • Additional storage compartments: center console, and emergency kits in the trunk
  • Rare Celsior, with RHD
  • Ability to mount a spare tire
  • Additional removable parts: Front bumper, rear bumper, and license plates
  • All parts visible and removable on the car (brakes, suspension, seats etc.)
  • Customization parts, including: bull bars, roll cage, spoiler, mud flaps, roof lights, fender flares, alternate vanity license plates
  • Paint Your Ride support

Some additional parts can be crafted, such as the bullbars and fender flares, others like the rally lights and mud flaps must be found at certain areas. You can find the addon parts at mechanics, car part stores, and garages.

The LS400 can be found in most places vehicles can spawn, with a higher chance to be found in nice neighborhoods and tire change vehicle stories, with the Celsior being much more rare. If you use Vehicle Spawn Zones Expanded, the Celsior can be found more readily in import spawn areas, while the LS400 can be found at dealerships.

Also check out my vehicle pack here:
It also has a more vanilla-friendly version of this car, if you prefer that

Great job on this! I've found one ingame and a few parts here and there, but can't see anything for the craftable parts in the crafting menu. Am I doing something wrong?

@Pubicbeard Most cars are only capable of this, or even slower. If you really need to tow with a car not quite cut out for towing, go in reverse; reverse gear gets a huge torque boost. Also, removing the wheels of the towed vehicle and slaloming can let you tow better as well, but it can be dangerous

is it normal for the car to only pull 30 mph when towing another car ?

Hello, my friend, how are you?

Can you make the Kia K7 2021 in the game?

@¥eezus It can spawn anywhere, but more common in nice parts of towns

Please make the armor for the car actually work. I love this mod!
