A total conversion mod for Squad set in the Clone Wars.

The mod size is 35 - 45 GB.

How to join?
  1. Start Squad
  2. Click on the top of your screen "SERVERS"
  3. Click top left of your screen "Filters"
  4. Check and or set the options below:
    >Language = ANY
    >Playstyle = ANY
    >Experience = ANY
    >Map Rotation = ANY
    >Show Full Servers
    >Show Empty Servers
    >Show Modded Servers
    >Show Queues Seperately
    >Show Reserved Slots
    >>>Here's a preview<<<
  5. Click on the search bar top left
  6. Type "galacticcontention" or "[GC]"
  7. Join one of the servers that is hosted by the Galactic Contention Team for the full intended experience!

Want to try the mod alone?

To play around in singleplayer you must be on the Main Menu of Squad.

  1. Press the tilt key ' ` ' to open the command console of the game.
  2. Type ' adminchangelayer GC_MAPNAME
  3. Pick the map of your choice and press enter
    >Picture of layer selection for singleplayer

While in single player, press the key(s) ' Shift + K ' or simple the ' End ' key to bring the Ai menu in single player if you wish to play solo/offline.

@TbY perhabs its still relative new announcement and we dont have too much information on it yet. But deffintly a possibility maybe.

@Vraling Frostmere than dont believe me, all i know is i talk with the devs and i see the progress behind the scenes. And the progress that gets put out to the public in the discord spoilers

New PvE mode announced by SQUAD DEVS. Could it possibly allow me to make my own match of 200 bots on GC? Would be good to test the numbers and PC Rig

i've seen so many moders say "we will return and update the mod to be functional again" and then 2-3 years later they haven't done anything that i honestly do not believe you

It will never be an "if" it comes back, but a "when". And the when will never be said as Mod Devs like having the wiggle room of not having an ETA.

For this mod, never say "if". It'll always be "when".
