War Thunder the grind simulator where you spend your life or life savings on virtual vehicles just to get a dopamine rush on attacking the D point.
Realistically speaking i've spent this much time in the game and im still not in top tier, nor jets or tanks in germany. You'd think i'd be on my 2nd nation or even 3rd if you ask a non thunderer player, but no sadly the grind is a tough bastard, it doesn't go down like a damn Ka-50 tryhard with daddy Vladdy's money. How about this Mr. Snail. I want you to consider these facts.
First of all:
1. When you grind a tank in each rank you have a certain % of RP and SL rewards. As you go up the ranks each vehicle is double the amount of RP and roughly double the SL price requirment than the previous one, yet the RP and SL % rewards are still ALMOST the same (10%~ roughly per rank) and it doesnt really accelarate the grind much.
2. Premium Account and Vehicles. They're supposed to be a trade an option that is intended to help people who are either invested in the game or dont have the time to invest in the game and want to go up the ranks faster quicker less time consuming AND money consuming methods. Yet it's again completely useless, as grinding them still takes considerable amount of time about half the amount of time i spent even a 3rd of my time spent is alot (300-400 hours)
3. Saying that "letting people get to top tier vehicles easily will make the game hard for them to learn the mechanics" is quite ironic, considering that people can buy packs or get them with GE and play it straight on. By making the vehicles at the top easier to grind it will make the skill levels more spread out. The people that ALREADY grind to the top will be competent enough to fight at top tier making the skill levels alot more even, compared to people who straight up buy the vehicles without having even grinded the first rank (as you see on reddit and youtube with incompetent noobs not knowing how to even use their vehicles).

I know this is a business and a game, but the grind itself is already LONG for people who do dedicate alot of their time in the game. So people who do not have the time to play the game for long periods of time, non-stop, are given the option of either leaving the game or paying to play. That means there's a larger amount of audience leaving than paying to play, that means less possible revenue. And after this statement that the War Thunder team has done, it will get a bad reputation as the people enjoy the game but despise the grind. We expect changes that will benefit both the audience and the business (which is possible considering the amount of traction the game gets on each unique vehicle updates).

I do not care that this took me a while to type this out. As this will give direction to people who want to know what we are displeased about and further aid understand what they will play or are already playing.

Hope our message is understood.
