I cannot sing this game's praises highly enough. It's easily my favorite game. I have given this as a gift to three people already. You owe it to yourself to try it out, and if you're ever in need of help, then look for one of my cosplay characters' summon signs.

While Skullgirls: 2nd Encore is mechanically unique, and I do have fond memories playing this with my friends, I cannot support the current dev team censoring the game, from character animations to story elements to even pulling works from the artbook. It doesn't bode well for the current team's likelihood to develop the original vision that Alex Ahad had, which means that the game will likely continue losing what made it stand out in the first place.

I have thoroughly enjoyed playing this game with my 7yo.
It is 100% worth picking up if you find it on a Steam sale.

I played this game with my 7yo, and she was able to do the first ten without my help. Later, when I got to the harder ones, she asked if I needed help, because it surely looked like it.
10/10 just for the precious moment. The music and working of that mental muscle didn't hurt either. For as little as it costs, I saw that it's an easy buy.
