This game is genuinely phenominal

To understand my personal experience I am not particularly good at Rhythm games, I am not very familiar with games such as DMC, and I played on the Hard diffriculty.

This game goes harder than diamonds.
The writing is a charming comic style that isn't afraid to poke fun at itself, but not in a sarcastic way. The game is very sincere with itself and manages to tell a very fun story.

The gameplay is phenominal and full bodied. Each attack feels meaty and the combo trees are diverse and interesting, and each mechanic serves in a way that feels satisfying, but that's probably not what you're here for.
The rhythm mechanics honestly could have been just a shallow gimmick aiding a game that had DMC mechanics, but this game takes this central aspect and dedicates the whole game to it. It aids in the mechanics, glueing everything together into a gamefeel that feels energetic, bouncy, and satisfying. It further adds to the artstyle with the environment responding to the rhythm, and everything comes back around to it.

The music to pair is genuinely incredible, and perfectly serving of each gameplay segment. My personal favorite is "Through the Halls of History". But I don't think any song on here is even mediocre. Every part of it is glorious and cheesy in the most sincere, best way possible.

This game is hype as hell and if you don't play it, you're doing yourself a disservice. Try it.

It is a very good game
The guns work, the mechanics are fun, The portals are a very interesting concept, that I'm surprised hasn't been done before. I feel like this game needs to be given a chance, alot of people haven't and it's a very fun game, the only reason it's not as fun is because not many people play it that much. It's a blast.
