Max Payne is an absolute classic game and is worth your time for the whole duration.

Max Payne puts you into the role of..well Max Payne, an NYPD Police Officer who after returning home for duty one day comes into contact with a very tragic event that sends him spiraling downwards, from there on out you play as Max and go through many level filled with classic shooting action while trying to solve the mystery of who caused Max so much grief.

Max Payne is a typical Third Person shooter game with elements you would expect to see in a third person shooter but what makes it so memorable is the Bullet Time Function. Bullet Time allows Max to slow down time so he can get an advantage on enemies, you can also do a side dodge bullet time as well, Bullet time is limited to a meter but killing enemies refills the Meter

What makes Max Payne truly unique was it's style and tone: The Game is set up like a Noir Style Crime film with nice Graphic Novels made with real life people featuring narration by the Voice Cast to tell the story. All of this makes the game feel truly special and the panels are really well made.

I also must mention actor James McCaffery's performance as the voice of Max Payne. He delivers each line with exceptional good delivering and he really fits the mood and character of Max Payne and thankfully he would be the Voice of Max for all 3 Max Payne games

This game is honestly a classic and really a review cannot do it justice, you simply need to play this game on your own to truly experience it. Just be sure to use the sound fix when you play it so you get the full experience. The game is truly one of a kind and is my favorite game of all time.

Max Payne 1 is a masterpiece, absolutely a 10/10
