Stars Wars Battlefront the Classic Collection

Positives:
- Very smooth gameplay and shooting, as compared to the originals which were clunky and the on screen writing was difficult to look at sometimes
- Well optimised with no lag
- The gunplay is incredibly fun and the new maps added in the collection are well fleshed out and fit nicely in with the others
- I love the new Steam achievements
- Some glitches from the original games are fixed
- The medal system and points/kill counter in Battlefront 2 is amazing and fun to see yourself progress as well as earn the award weapons and perks

Mixed
- The graphics are better...but not by much
- The music is excellent, but as a classic collection they should have added new tracks. Although, the current tracks do seem to be of a higher quality than the original
- Controlling vehicles in both games, especially Battlefront 1 can be clunky and need getting used to
- On launch the multiplayer was a disaster, but now has been fixed

Negative
- Very little new content added past glitch fixes and two new heroes/new maps. No new units or campaigns is disappointing and hopefully will be added later
- The game is 62GB big, which is painfully oversized and takes up a lot of space on my laptop. Considering the other games are both under 10GB this is unacceptable
- £29 is a very steep price for what you get, wait until a sale or manage to find a Steam key
- Allegedly there are many new glitches, but I haven't found any yet apart from the glitch where my medal progress rolls onto the next life for some reason (started happening after update 1, should be fixed later)
- Some may find it difficult to justify making this a collection when the two games included in this exist on steam already

Gothic 3

Positives:
- A fantastic soundtrack, that whilst sometimes being repetitive (the combat music!!) helps immerse the player in the world
- A very unique game, it feels completely different to other RPGs
- Nameless hero makes immersive narrative easy as you can put yourself in his shoes
- A huge amount of quests to complete, whilst many quests are similar I loved pretty much all of them regardless
- Easy to learn levelling system complete with perk points and a trainer feature where you need to use your gold to pay people to teach you the skills, which makes sense as how can you learn them by yourself
- Fully voiced dialogue that, whilst being very cheesy, is an achivement in itself
- A pretty good variety of weapons, spells and shields. You have bows, crossbows, axes, swords, fireball, lightning etc
- Faction system that adds some depth to the story
- The graphics are brilliant for its time and still just about hold up today
- No loading screens in the world at all, unless you die you won't have to see a loading screen
- Massive variety of enemies and enemy types
- Like with previous Gothic games enemies do not scale to your level and you really feel like you're improving throughout the game
- Literally about 60-90 hours of playtime if you want to finish it all

Mixed:
- The story is average, and whilst can be seen as exciting in parts is not wholly fleshed out. We focus more on individual cities than on the overarching story and the main antagonists and heroes do not have much screen time
- The combat can be frustrating at times, but no where near as awful as some have claimed
- Lack of quest direction can be seen as a negative for some and a positive for others who want full immersion
- The world does not feel as alive as it could be, however there are some events that change the environment of the game such as capturing cities for either the orcs or humans

Negatives:
- The world is so huge it becomes a problem navigating, if you want to find something or even somewhere you have previously been it can be very difficult to do so
- Some areas feel very barren and dull, such as the desert faction
- Characters we haven't seen before in the previous Gothic games have barely any personality or distinguishing features, aside from a few notables who have a unique characteristic and personality most of the characters are boring, but this is what comes of creating a world so huge instead of focusing
- Xp requirements for levelling up eventually becomes so high it's near impossible to max out

Overall 9/10

Fallout: New Vegas

Positives:
- Excellent music
- Brilliant atmosphere
- Perk system is fantastic
- Story is great
- The graphics hold up for a game that's 13 years old
- Very interesting economy
- DLC is solid for the most part
- The quests are exciting and unique, with few fetch quests
- A huge array of weapons and equipment
- A morality and faction based system that works great
- One of the best skill systems ever made

Mixed:
- Gunplay, whilst fun can be seen as a bit clunky and dated
- Cut content may be seen as leading to the story being less fleshed out, on the other hand much of the deleted content was removed for good reason
- There is no sprint option making navigation occasionally boring. This is levelled out by the very intriguing and full environment but can be frustrating if you just want to get from A to B

Negative:
- The lonesome Road DLC is annoying, confusing and not fun. The other three DLC are all great
- Not infrequent bugs can frustrate the player, especially with such quests like "Beyond the beef"

Arcadius

Positives:
- Easy to get into to
- Can be relaxing

Mixed
- Style could be considered quirky and cute, on the other hand it could easily be seen as very common and poor in quality. Similar to animal crossing and the like, but worse
- May be enjoyable for people who enjoy grinding xp and money, similarly this could be seen as a negative as it takes a long time to level

Negative
- Extremely repetitive
- Better equipment offers no gameplay change
- The open world is tiny and has no exciting features
- The sound quality is poor
- Bad developers who ignore community ideas
- Overlay is awful and the font used is hard to read

8/8/88 Needle is a very interesting and story driven horror game. Much like their other game Wardwell house, Needle plays out like a mix between a novel and a point and click game with excellent photography and graphics. About halfway through I felt a little bored but the first and third chapters were excellent and I realised even the second chapter was necessary when I finished the game. Unlike Wardwell house which had an average ending the ending for Needle is brilliant and well worth the wait, I won't spoil it but I was both shocked and it made sense which is great.

Easily a game you can spend the entire evening playing without getting bored and it's quite scary without being over the top.

8/10: Great story driven game which drags a little in the middle but is overall of very high quality.

Terrible game, very pay to win, characters cost lots to purchase and the absolute worst thing? The gameplay is horrendous and the combat is clunky and not fun at all!

Try Brawlhalla instead.

Flesh water has a very simplistic and predictable plotline, average voice acting and not very scary or even capable of giving off feelings of dread. I couldn't really get into it past the first half and having to finish the game 4 times to get all the endings was juts a huge chore.

4/10: It's free but probably not worth a try

Skinwalker Hunt is a solid horror game with numerous mechanics we've seen in many horror games and a few new ones. It's fairly similar to the developer's other game "With Hunt" which I would also say is a very fine game.

Graphically it's good, ambience is excellent and the gun play is exciting whilst the monsters are frightening. I haven't played the 2nd map yet but if it's half as good as the first it should be very interesting. There is room for improvement in the game but at this stage and this price I'd definitely recommend it.

The worst of the series, and that is saying something.
